I got my pfizer appointment

Featured Replies

I signed up via expatvac website, first appointment 9th september got canceled and  now i got a replacment for september 15th.

I hope it will not be canceled again, as i am under 40 and none of the 7 diasese.

I cannot understand that the Government mentions the 70+ as risk group, while some 40- got an appointment for a jab already and some 70+ still did not get any reply from expatvac?????

Supply & demand vary from place to place, and the expiry date for assorted drugs just makes it all the more complicated to organise.

Inconsistencies from one province or hospital to another don't have to be signs either of conspiracy or of incompetence. Though of course they may be in any particular instance ...

In Phetchabun, Thais have to pay 1,750.- for the only available, Sinopharm... Go Figure...

I am surprised that Thailand still has Pfizer doses for foreigners. I have not heard of more Pfizer than the 1.5 million donated by the US arriving in Thailand. Of this only 150K doses were allocated for foreigners. I would have thought they would have already given 75K first doses since it was started a month ago.

Where are you located?

I had to call hospitals directly to finally get an appointment tomorrow at Central.

Some members may help if they know your approximate location.

The entire rollout is a mess despite Anutins claims.

He should have been shown the door ages ago with that weasel Thammanat.

It's free the government have said and also said if some are charging then they will be prosecuted

all you old folks should stop complaining, it has been six freaking month for yall to get your act together, for the last six month it was all about people 60+ getting vaccinated, if you didn't get it by now, you screw up along the line most 60+ has come and gone, while all the under 60 are sitting and waiting for our turn, how long do you expect us to wait till you pull up your pants.

Sinovac + AZ

Reports that the health ministry is making that the main vaccine strategy.

Terrible.

I, for one, don't "expect" you to do anything. You're mistaken if you believe any of us has any sway with the system.

In your case you chose to take an opportunity to be offensive and abusive to your fellow expats.

Well done. Now we have your measure.

On the other hand I have received 4 emails in the last 24 hours from Everbrite/Expatvac offering me an appointment in Chiang Mai tomorrow.

However, already had first Pfizer via the Wall of Chiangmai project, second due on 23rd.

Th only vaccine shot I heard that they were charging for was the Moderna shot, which will only be given at a private hospital and costs around 1700 baht per shot.

Firstly It was not possible 6mths ago to get anything but Sinovac which is not suitable for over 60s, I registered ASP with expatvac  and am still waiting to hear. Now sonny Jim, you young whippersnapper, pull your pants down and prepare yourself for a good whipping.

I am going to Prachuap Khiri Khan Hospital on Tuesday to get a Pfizer vaccination. The message says that it is free of charge. This is my first vaccination.

I think it depends as well in what color zone you stay?!

Good for you.

I just got my first on Sunday.

Its a relief.  3 weeks until the second dose.

I need to get wife vaccinated now.

No Chinese stuff.  We are traveling overseas.

I received my first  Pfizer vaccination on the 14th from Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin, second to be administered in 3 weeks.
