Question. Has anyone had their TP application rejected and if so why? Sure Ubonjoe will keep a list of things to watch for.

I've seen on Twitter a couple people got rejected for not have their PCR payment (for those who had SHABA certificates submitted), some cause of insurance even though insurance was correct, and others because of vaccination records not being ideal, others for quality of documents not being clear, etc. etc. they can't amend their applications unfortunately and just have to resubmit.

I believe you are averreacting. All this mess was expected and of no surprise to me . One cannot assume that a thirld world country will be a 100 percent efficient. We are just unlucky to have planned our trips at this time. 
Anyway I was ready to pay for the 15 days quarantine when I left Thailand 3 months ago and will then be happy with the AQ QR solution.
I am quite sure that you will forgive them in a few weeks.

We came in last week on COE's, we flew Delta Airlines out of Seattle, which was flight-sharing with Korean Air between Incheon and Bangkok. When we arrived at Incheon we were ushered to a transfer desk where they checked our ASQ booking, Vaccination Certificate, Certificate of Entry and Covid Insurance. I was a bit confused as to why all of those items were not checked until we hit Korea, but that's what happened. I'm not sure what would have happened if our documents were not in order....but what happened to us makes me think that the advice some are giving on here as far as "just get on the plane and sort it out later" may not work.

Just to let you know I received my Thailand pass this morning. Like everyone else I applied on Monday and everyday since and had all the same issues. I was getting so nervous as I fly on Monday 8th November from the UK that I finally went the Alternative Quarantine route and received the pass almost immediately. If I hadn't received the Exemption from Quarantine pass this morning I was going to use it. I dont know what work but I did send an email to [email protected] and [email protected] yesterday asking for help. I am guessing that they are very slowly processing the pass manually. Thank you for all the tips and guidance on here. Good luck.

I have not received any QR code. It seems it doesn't work anymore, loophole may have been filled up.

Hi everyone, flying from UK on Monday 8th Nov. Like many others still waiting to receive my TP.

I have got COE approved early last week as back up. Does anyone think I will have any issues travelling with this as I have read it is no longer valid after the 8th & I land on the 9th?  Thanks !

Any CoE’s which have already been issued are being honoured - so you have no worries. 

I suspect you applied for your CoE quite early, before Thailand Pass was signed off on.

 

I applied for CoE on 24th Oct and was rejected and told that anyone travelling after 7th should apply via Thai Pass - this was because plans for the Thailand Pass were already in place. 

 

 

That said: IF you have applied for a Thailand Pass (not using a hotmail account) and successfully handled all the bugs and idiosyncrasies of a broken system you should get your Thailand Pass.

 

We applied for the Thailand Pass on Monday (with hotmail : no conformation of application received) 

We applied again on Tues (with G-mail - confirmation of application received). 

We applied again on Thurs (with G-mail) for the AQ option (not Test and Go) and received instant approval. 

Fri Morning we received ’Test and Go’ Approval. 

Today, we have received two more ’Test and Go Approvals’ !!! 

 

Thus: IF you have applied correctly and received an e-mail confirming registration / application you ’should’ receive approval today... But, you have nothing to worry about if you have a CoE.

I'm grateful I'm not travelling until late December, all the bugs will have been sorted by then !  I have everything booked, have insurance etc, just a waiting game now until first week of December to then apply for the Thailand pass, with a system that should then be working properly ????

Applied for the 2nd part of the COE on Tuesday and got it back Thursday. Think they approved it so late on because they saw how bad the TP was preforming.

Update: I have received my TP QR code for my application from 1st of November a few minutes ago. It took 5 days to get approval.

I also have one QR code which I received instantly with my second application on 3rd of November, so I have now 2 Thailand passes.

 

Flying mid next week, both the QR codes are for the Phuket Sandbox.

 

EU digital covid certificate, non-Thai travel insurance covering covid with max 500K USD coverage. For the covid certificate both 1st dose/completed certificates were uploaded (Comirnaty) , with the QR codes cropped and uploaded separately as well. My first application didn't include the prepaid PCR test at the Phuket airport (only SHABA certificate) , so looks like it is not required.

Please let us know . Each time somebody says he gets it very late , It's hope for the others. And we need hope . I am so stressed.

At long last I finally received my Test & Go QR code as well as my wife and kids. We're all set and ready to go. What a mission it was to get it, with about 10 applications each and including the AQ application which is now not needed. Hopefully they get this sorted or get rid of it in the coming months as I don't fancy going through all this again in the future. Good luck to those still waiting!

Got my second QR code yesterday. That’s very strange because my first registration got rejected and the second one approved. Not sure where the second one is coming from now…

I really don’t want to know how this system is set up.

It is better to generate the qrcode by taking the digital file of the EU certificate and cropping it leaving enough white margin around, in jpeg or png format.

For exemple, I'm not sure it works when taking a picture of the certificate. I would like to know if anyone has been successful with this method.

Hi.    Perhaps some could confirm for me.    I booked my Sha+ asq for 1 night via agoda ,  I recieved a booking confirmation from agoda and a receipt.  However it says at the bottom of the page that I have to wait for an email from the hotel to also provide  documents, ?  Does this mean they will then send me a confirmation to make the Thailand pass application ?    Has any applied with just the agoda confirmation ?     Many Thanks.   Kr.

Just to give another data point, my Thailand Pass was finally approved about two hours ago. My flight is in 24 hours. General timeline:

- Nov 1 - applied

- Nov 5 - rejected - insurance value too low (wrong - it's >USD100k, but in a different currency and I guess they can't do the conversion)

- Nov 5 - resubmitted and wrote the FX conversion and USD value on the certificate

- Nov 6 - rejected - need to submit first vaccine dose certificate (wrong - we get only one certificate which includes the dates and details for both doses)

- Nov 6 - resubmitted and circled the dose 1/2 dates on the certificate. I also made two identical copies with different filenames for the certificate and the QR code. Got an error on submission (green tick but with error message), but got the submitted email

- Nov 6 - approved about 10 minutes later

 

I don't think it was automatically approved given the 10 minute timeframe. Hopefully they are prioritizing departure dates in 1-2 days.

 

I would add that over the last two days, I have been emailing the local embassy and also the tpass help address. No idea if it helped.

 

Some additional info:

- my vaccine certificate has no passport number, but has my national ID number on it. I added my national ID card to the vaccine cert image.

- I used the QR code from my national vaccine certificate on the last application. I had used it on a prior application also, but never got an approval/rejection on that one. On the first application, I used the QR code from the EU Digital Card.

- booking confirmation was from the hotel for 1 night, and I added the psap at airport PRC test receipt to the image

- insurance image was combination of the certificate with my  name, the policy page with the medical amount, and the page saying covid is covered

- I have applied using three email addresses over this timeline, adding documents that I missed in the original application (although nothing that mattered it seems)

 

Edit:

Just received second approval. I presume because i submitted twice this morning (because of the error on submission). I think this shows one of the biggest problems with the system. Both applications had exactly the same information, including the passport number. That shouldn't be possible. These things should be indexed on the passport number (after trimming whitespace) and thus not allow resubmission. They should allow editing of the in process submission instead. Instead, presumably two different people had to process my two applications.

 

They could even fix this at this late stage by simply deleting all submissions with the same passport number except for the most recent one. And send an email indicating as much.

I'm still waiting on approval, and that QR code is probably not really worth much. I'm not recommending them, I'm just telling you what I did.

 

If I receive approval I will of course post about it.

This was from my first Submission on the 1st November - where I only got email conformation of submission the following morning.  ( I know it was my first submission as the TP came on email I only used on 1st application)

I am UK Passport holder

No Passport numbers on Vaccination Cert

Cropped QR on vaccination cert to include the codes

Bought AXA Thai insurance as they issue online certificate that gives all information on one page.

SHA+ tick box

My flight is 12th November next Friday.

Sorry I was to impatient . So yes It is still working but others have got their alternative quarantine pass immediatley and mine was just received. Then 5 hours later. I am quite surprise because if it is automated I should have received it immediatley . If it needs human control I shouldn't have received it because I mentioned only 1 night of AQ hotel. 

I am still waiting for my test and go applications results  but if I don't receive any. I am ready to pay 700€ for the alternative quarantine booking that I may need to show at the airport.

Yeah, for some reason they've gone with graphics only. Probably easiest for you would be to convert online, plenty of sites such as https://www.ilovepdf.com/pdf_to_jpg (it will convert every page into a separate jpg then download them in a zip file).

 

You'll also probably hit the problem of only allowing one file upload per topic, if so, combine them online for example here https://products.aspose.app/pdf/merger/jpg-to-jpg.

 

If you end up with files too big to upload (shouldn't but just in case) compress them online for example here https://compressjpeg.com/.

I have a Canon printer, I contacted the my by phone, the operator remotely took over my laptop, told me to place the document of the glass top then proceeded to convert it to JPG. I asked could not scan the document myself from the laptop desk top, he said it is not possible. The resultant scan was  very poor quality. I will try the things you have sent, thank you. Hope it is a breeze ????
