His goal for Thailand is 'net zero emissions by 2065.' What will the country look like by that time?

Is this a caption competition?

Yes. The photograph is of a new Madame Tussauds exhibition featuring Alfred E Neuman in the centre....

The west created the problem with the industrial revolution. Now the west want to blame the Asians for having their industrial revolution.

Time the west put their hand deeper in the pocket and cut the poorer countries some slack.

'...called for an end to destruction of nature...' eh? Well, the chaps just along the road from me must have missed that bit cos they've just started to cut down the remaining trees just aside to the street. They were home to some squirrels and a couple of hawks as well as providing some shade to two bungalows. Another line of those very narrow conjoined apartments will take their place, so I'm told, which no doubt will remain vacant like the first lot.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha told the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) that Thailand was ready to fully improve its solutions to climate change and called for an end to the destruction of nature.

How about while you at it, also solve world hunger, world's wars, make peace between Israel and the Arabs and put the Chinese in their place.. how's that for a start?...

On the to do list, like sustainability.

And an end to corruption.

He stumbled already last week for a press conference, now he makes another statement that is nonsense.. I think he has Alzheimer disease...... In all the time he is in power he has done nothing at all for the climate... crack downs yes... but still a lot of cars with black smoke, cars too old to be on the road, nothing about wind and solar energy, still a lot airpollution in Bangkok, ChiangMai... The only thing he has achieved no plastic bags,, but I see them coming back again in the big stores

That pictures been photoshopped .

In the real one the flankers are on their knees waiing Prayuth.

That's a possibility, as this cultural notion is quite the fashion among particular classes of the West - apparently not understanding why and how it's practiced.

There are plenty of plastic bags available in any 7/11 you come across.

Thailand and solving climate crisis .... they got to be seriously surprised if they step out of their sandbox . The amount of Thai persons who are even too lazy to walk for longer then 10m is incredible . The amount of Thais who just throw everything on the floor even if there is a garbage bag next to them . The burning of garbage , while they do have a garbage bin , collected and "processed" ( well at least its collected the processing is a different matter...) . The superlow quality items which you can use 1 time and you need to throw them away .

Thailand has got a long long way to go to be "green" . This also means , by a couple of campaigns and small adaptions they can do a lot , but they aren't near the many other countries.  They do got some very good resources possible , solar is around plenty in Thailand , they can/should make more use of it .

'PM: Thailand Seriously Solves Climate Issues'!

Strange choice of words for a headline!  He's hardly Serious (he can barely contain his mirth) at his own lies.

'Solves' suggests he understands why so many Thais die annually of respiratory diseases and has put measures in place.

Maybe you can explain why only 30/40 years ago all the houses in Sheffield were black.

Those of a limited mentality would prefer to think they had been painted.

"Thailand has worked out its Relevant plans at local and national level.. " Said he who must be obeyed, but failed to say exactly what these plans are. I have a good idea; to send those water cannons to put out the burn off, and not the flames of  those that want him gone. Stop the flow of brown envelopes too !
