But if you really just want to follow other people's trade ideas, this isn't a forum where you're likely to find reliable alpha.

At the very least, please ask respondents to justify their reasoning for recommending various coins.

bitcoin - maybe

ethereum - maybe [a bit closer to "yes"]

polkadot - no

doge - no

cardano - strong no

algorand - maybe

not mentioned above:

tron - maybe

litecoin - maybe [a bit closer to "no"]
stellar - maybe

ripple - maybe [a bit closer to "no"]

vechain - maybe

bsc - no [a bit closer to "maybe"]

monero - strong no

I can't give a strong "yes" to any coin because the top coins have fundamental flaws that are not likely to be fixed and the less known coins might not get a wide adoption in the future.

that sounds like a recipe for disaster, some people just want to lose money ????

crypto advisers? don't think they exist, and any "licensed" Financial Advisors would not recommend cryptos because of regulations, and could be criminally and liable in civil damages in a future crash.

Be very careful, and 5K is small, but there are other ways to burn that much cash and still have fun ????

there are some of these advisors to follow on etoro app........ And if people don't learn from YouTube where exactly do you learn all this crypto jargon is very confusing.

But at the end of the day I remember putting 1k on Bitcoin in 2014 but took it out soon after ,.     now looking back I was stupid that's why I want to jump in again,.

I don't want to miss the boat

if you don't know, you don't know. Nobody is going to tell you how or teach you how,

it's going to be brutal and you need to understand that 5K is at risk for a 100% loss

that's how you learn cryptos, lose your first 10K before you can make your first 10K ????

these advisors on eToro are not "advisors", they are promoters, aka "sales people"

Isn't eToro registered in Cyprus with a UK FCA passport (basically worthless)? I would worry very much with that broker once the sh*t hits the fan ????

Since when has an authorised FA's professional investment advice, that hasn't worked out as planned, been a criminal offence or made the FA liable to a civil action?

... if you are not trolling then investing is definitely not for you. Do NOT invest your money in cryptocurrencies - you WILL lose everything.

How much did you lose investing in cryptos?

What a strange post, so someones looking to get into a new market / a new asset class and your advise is...........''if you don't know, you don't know. Nobody is going to tell you how or teach you how''

If you have no experience in a subject, why post advise on the thread?

In terms of investing i've always kept it simple, its important to remember that if your money is not making more than 10% per year you are actually loosing money, or certainly purchasing power.

Leaving your money in a bank its literally the wort thing you can do, i remember when we were young and told to save money.....basically the worst bit of advise you could have taken in the last 30 years is to save money.

Stick the money into bitcoin, its got to be better than loosing money in a bank account, plus if you are in a 3rd world country that money is at risk of it being taken away from you, or at least part of it by the central banks, as has happened already.

btw this movie is a nice indicator - if a person likes this movie then this person in a piece of shít and doesn't worth spending time with them.

However since then the crypto market cap has increased by over 2 trillion dollars and will continue to increase over time.

Unfortunately most of the posters have sour grapes becuase they knew about cryptos years ago but failed to invest and now they continue to knock it

I invested in bitcoin in 2013 and contiune to buy today yes even at prices of 65,000, why? because its better store of value than it sitting in the bank..

Look around at all the people now taking part of their paycheck in bitcoin.

Mayor of Miami is taking next 3 pay check in btc and also mayor elect.

Numerous US sports stars from the NFL.

They use a system designed by strike and is not available outside of the US at the moment but surely will be in the next couple of years.

Whilst we print endless amounts of money, you need to be taking some sort of hedge imo

It's very sad to see this, I don't see this guy's posts as I blocked him.

He is some kind of attention-seeking troll, nobody could be as stupid when it come to refusing to believe cryptos are here to stay.
