Popular Post Scott Tracy
I suggest it matters not where Boss is. The RTP have no intention of bringing him back. Too many worms in too many cans...

Popular Post bradiston
38 minutes ago, Bangkok Barry said: Google produced this in 0.52 seconds: Which countries have extradition treaties with Thailand? Currently, the following countries have extradition treaties with Thailand: the US, the UK, Canada, China, Belgium, Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, South Korea, Bangladesh, Fiji, and Australia. There. Glad I could help. Saves the RTP and the Thai government a lot of trouble, that. He can stay there in the mountains listening to Mozart until the charges expire with time. Not quite the whole story. From https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extradition#:~:text=When no applicable extradition agreement, the requested state's domestic law "When no applicable extradition agreement is in place, a sovereign may still request the expulsion or lawful return of an individual pursuant to the requested state's domestic law.[2] This can be accomplished through the immigration laws of the requested state or other facets of the requested state's domestic law. Similarly, the codes of penal procedure in many countries contain provisions allowing for extradition to take place in the absence of an extradition agreement.[2] Sovereigns may, therefore, still request the expulsion or lawful return of a fugitive from the territory of a requested state in the absence of an extradition treaty.[2]" Chances are he's got Austrian citizenship by now, making it even harder to get him out. Just as problematic might be the discreet behind the scenes lobbying from the immensely rich and presumably influential Red Bull corner, whose hq is in Austria. Would Austria give him up and risk falling out with the whole clan? Again, a lot of extremely bad press for Red Bull if this really becomes headline news. Brand damage could be extensive. Once he's perceived as a catastrophic liability, they'll cough up, no question and into the lion's pit he goes! But that's what lawyers are for. Red Bull F1 are near to clinching the world championship. Do they need this little squit hanging around the paddock? But given he's had 4 years to think about it, and faced with the possibility of never being able to return here, he's no doubt got a top notch legal team who could l'm sure broker some sort of deal that satisfies all parties. He'll probably return the prodigal son, do some bird in a "padded" cell, and it'll all be forgotten about. It's all down to how it's handled. Maybe. Nup. I like what you say but the reality is he has a filthy rich daddy who has been filling lots and lots of very, very big brown paper bags. Judges, politicians, police have been rewarded handsomely no doubt about it.

Why would he bother renewing his Thai passport as I am sure he has a few other countries passports, that is why he can travel around and also why he can not be extradited as easily as most people seem to think, in theory he is not Thai. spidermike007
He could remain in Austria for the rest of his life, if he wanted to. The RTP are not much of a threat to anyone, except maybe Thai street vendors, innocent Burmese on Dark Tao, and the occasional restaurant they decide to extort for serving a beer. They are beyond toothless, and some of the least serious "law enforcement" officers on the planet. Any extradition request would be ignored, as the only nations who respect this administration are China, North Korea, Cuba and Kazakhstan. KhaoYai
If they really want to arrest this man - just do a deal with the Saudis. He's present at just about every Formula 1 race - next in Saudi on 5 December. God knows who's passport he travels on but with his cash, that's not a problem.
