Look closely next time you fill up with 'Premium' to see the B7 either on the pump handle or sign on the price

  • No your truck is ok on the B10 as it is on B7 up to you.

  • I have a 2014 Wildtrak (old-fashioned 5-pot Duratorq mill, same as Transit vans and some Disco's) and after the recent reshuffle of diesel grades, I've been using B10 instead of B7. I've never bothere

  • I used B10 for several years but it caused a problem by gumming up my injectors, my mechanic said never use B10 only premium!

Esso say that their  Supreme Plus diesel Synergy is their Premium Diesel and it is B7. Shell have their V-Power B7 at a similar price to Esso Supreme Plus so is that a Premium Diesel also?

If I use Shell, I normally us their Fuel Save B7, Today it was 29.59thb/lte and their V-Power B7 36.04 ... approx 1480 thb v 1802thb for 50ltrs. I think Fuel Save B7 and V-Power B7 is the same fuel but the V-Power has additives.  We have a 2015 3.2Lt Everest.

Many say run a tank full of V-Power through the system now and again. Can't hurt.....

I dropped by a PTT on the way home the other night and like most pump stations in Isaan, found the few B10 pumps (darker blue) on the back islands, furthest from the road. All the other islands have B7 (lighter blue). Like most stations up here, there were no Premium diesel (grey) pumps but I did notice that the huge sign with pricing on the roadside had B20 (red), B10 and B7 all listed at the same price. Is this a New Year initiative seeing that hundreds of thousands of road trips in mostly diesel-powered vehicles are being made right now?

For those that (still) think Shell is different.
