the same was true for Hitler, who valued loyalty over intelligence.

No need to go back in history, a current ally of Putin who once said when he was president:

"He (Putin) just said it’s not Russia. I don't see any reason why it would be....."

has exactly the same values.

Swiss Parliament Votes To Block Indirect Arms Exports To Ukraine

https://www.rferl.org/a/swiss-parliament-blocks-arms-exports-ukraine/32440097.html

The main reason for blocking the indirect arms export to Ukraine is because they are afraid it could jeopardize their ‘neutrality’. Bit hypocritical, isn’t it? I mean, their banks take and guard the money (billions if not trillions of dollars) from every dictator and criminal Tom, Dick and Harry, and they make a sh!tload of money that way. Heaven forbid they should stand the tiniest chance to possibly lose some of that business because they allowed arms exports to Ukraine.

If I was in Ukraine a ordinary shotgun with the cartridges I wanted and with an M107 would be my weapons  choice.

This would be my weapon of choice but not enough to go round. In the absence of that or mobile air defense systems or machine gun with plenty of ammo then shotguns will do. The Iranian made Shahed Drones are low flying and slow.

Looks like the post above mine answered the question I posted at the same time.

If my educated guess is correct there will be a lot of black bags required by Russians on Tuesday ????

Alert

Reports are coming in that Russia has blown up the Kakhovka dam. Flood levels in Kherson Oblast are rising rapidly and this could cause immense destruction.

-- The Inhulets River is now reportedly flowing backwards away from the Dnipro.

-- The M14 highway flooded out north of Vesele, Kherson Oblast.

-- The Kakhovka HPP is completely destroyed and cannot be restored.

-- In Nova Kakhovka, the local zoo was flooded due to the explosion and flooding. All animals died.

-- This could impact the #Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant.

I suggest holding a UN vote to remove Russia from the UN Security Council. If the Russian ambassador objects, take him in the bathroom and drown him.

Devasting war crime by the Russians. Looks like they have no intention of staying in Crimea as that will also have no water now.

  • Popular Post

An Swedish simulation of what blowing up the dam will do. World class mass destruction.  Obviously meant to stop the Ukrainian counteroffensive.

If so, maybe Ukraine can proceed to takeout the Crimean bridge.

Hopefully, some suggest this will also damage Russian defensive lines.

Maybe don't blow up the Crimean Bridge till they leave.

I'm confused, the dam in the black and white photo in your post is not the Kakhova dam, but the Dnipro dam in Zaporizhzhia.

how old is that photo ?

Really? Putin is now bombing Kherson as civilians scramble to save their lives from floods caused by Putin's war crime bombing of Kakhovka Dam, whose reservoir would qualify as the 6th largest lake in continental Europe. And you still believe Russian propaganda?

The Russian military can finally see the writing on the wall.

There will be no where for Putin to hide once they quit Crimea, the Russian perceived crowning jewel of their war against Ukraine.

All of the Russian population will then realise that all this death, destruction and economic ruin caused by Putin's greed was all for nought and then he will be toast.

You're correct, thanks, I grabbed the wrong photo in haste.  That's a WWII image after Joseph Stalin's secret police blew it up to stop the German advance, which was another tragedy for Ukraine.

Reading some other information on other sites. It appears Putin's intentional bombing of the dam was meant to stop the Ukrainian counteroffensive, but by doing this he has committed his largest war crime atrocity.

This satellite image provided by Maxar Technologies shows an overview of the Kakhovka dam in southern Ukraine on Monday, June 5, 2023. Ukraine on Tuesday, June 6, accused Russian forces of blowing up the major dam and hydroelectric power station in a part of southern Ukraine they control, threatening a massive flood that could displace hundreds of thousands of people, and ordered residents downriver to evacuate.
