People in Bangkok and most other parts of the country woke up Sunday morning feeling as if they are in the middle of the cold season, instead of what is usually the hottest month of the year.

 

The temperature fell by 2-4oC in the northern and central regions, including Bangkok, thanks to an unusually strong high pressure system from China, which is now covering the northern part of Thailand, according to the Thai Meteorological Department.

 

In Bangkok, the temperature fell to 21C.

Glorious weather in Jomtien. In all my years, don't recall temps this low in April. Enjoying open windows and last breaths of non-aircon before the steambath gets turned back on for the next 6+ months. 

Noticed Sunday the wind had swung back from the north... still got up to 25C in my area.

Absolutely perfect weather.  Got the BBQ out and watched sports, outside, without even a fan, in April.

I love it!

OMG.....missing a good old, damp and chilly morning in Yorkshire after a few days of gentle, cool breezes. 23C for us most of yesterday.....actually wore a fleece for the first time ever.

Record set for me no aircon on for 48hrs but wavering right now in HH????

Bloomin cold and very very wet here on Samui.

Non stop rain for the last two days and it is set to continue until Wednesday.

Just arrived for a month’s stay. Ah, well, some days to shop for “settling in”.
