but she fell due to someone else’s negligence.

I'd say from what I read it was an accident..

suffocation from drowning

This I don't understand, how some people don't seem to make an effort to survive, as if it's too much bother.

Six suspects charged by the police in connection with the death of TV actress Nida Patcharaveerapong, aka “Tangmo”, were granted bail on a bond of 200,000 baht each by Nonthaburi public prosecutors this afternoon (Tuesday), after they had been escorted to the prosecutors’ office.

Also this afternoon, police submitted their report on the case, which is over 2,000 pages long, to the prosecutors, with a recommendation that all six suspects be indicted on various charges, ranging from negligence causing the death of another person, giving false statements to the police and destroying evidence to operating a vessel without a licence, littering and using a vessel with an expired license.

charged with recklessness....... No other charges could be found/made?? Accidents happens sadly this cost a life... But  to charge them is a bit over the top for recklessness.... A cop can cause an accident by not stopping for a zebracrossing and he gets a light sentence, than this boat accident is less severe ..

she did not accidentally fall into the Chao Phraya River, but she fell due to someone else’s negligence.

Very odd wording.  Sounds like it was still an accident, but one that was caused by negligence.

If it wasn't murder and she didn't fall accidentally, then someone else must have caused her to fall from the boat through their negligence.  This sounds quite tricky to prove.  If they were all drinking and she went to the end of the boat to relive herself, then someone swerved the boat and she fell out, they must have known that there was a risk to people falling out but ignored that risk.

It's called manslaughter, isn't it?

200k baht each, you pay now!

Once the check clears, it will be determined the victim was not a man so no crime, there is no law regarding womanslaughter.

Hey, you in the back of the boat, watch me slam open the throttles all the way.  Hang on to your hat!

I wonder if one of the guys was coming on to her and was rebuffed.  So he tried a juvenile trick to get attention.

Booze, darkness and childish behavior = this. Very sad.

So if it was not an accident nor a murder was it Suicide by intentional drowning.....

The technical term is called "being suicided" ........ and the final report came nicely wrapped in very thick envelopes ????

Not thick enough, as several people have received a long list of charges including causing death. So, a pretty silly comment to make. Maybe you didn't read the link before posting.

...come on!....it was mentioned it was caused by the reckless behaviour of others...not enough evidence to prove intent...and not clear enough to say she died accidentally.

As I am a non-native English speaker; "being suicided" was supposed to refer to unfinished business not by the victim - to my apparent incomplete understanding.
