An interesting question that is surely being addressed is, who has the security clearance to view the documents as a ‘Special Master’?

 

Clearly it’s not going to be some attorney appointed by the Judge.

 

The nature of the documents suggests it can only be some working for the Government, I would be very surprised if even the FBI has agents with the necessary clearances.

 

So most likely someone working for Government National Security.

 

Are these then the seeds of the next whacked out conspiracy theory?

 

My guess is it won’t get that far, the DOJ will appeal the Judges order.

It seems to me that the Trump supporters (and Trump himself) say the most outrageous things but mostly fail to back it up with proof. After all who would support a known serial liar, 30,xxx or more in 4 years.

Y'know, I thought about this, and then I realized it may be much simpler than it first appears.

 

First off, there are undoubtedly many attorneys with the proper clearances; if not in Florida, then certainly in and around Washington D.C. 

 

Secondly, the Special Master would not necessarily need to have the top security clearances. Why? Because any document requiring a security clearance............  automatically falls outside the Special Master's area of interest.

 

No documents requiring a security clearance could be part of the "personal" or "privileged" documentation the Special Master is supposed to be on the lookout for. So the Special Master would not have a reason to be looking at them, anyway!

 

So, even if the Special Master himself doesn't possess the proper clearances............. all that's needed is for the Special Master to be working along side a person who does.

 

The Special Master filters out the privileged communications the government shouldn't be looking at............ and their high security-clearanced co-worker........... filters out the sensitive materials the Special Master shouldn't be looking at!

What you think is a revelation is actually old news. The acting head of NARA asked Biden for permission to disallow claims of executive privilege by Trump. He agreed to that. Other than that no evidence he was involved in the subsequent decisions.

What don't you understand about the fact that this all began as an attempt by NARA to get back the unvetted documents that Trump took from the White House. All Trump had to do was was return the documents for NARA to be vetted. Instead, he refused to accede to a grand jury subpoena. His own lawyers had returned some classified documents in January. We know that they recognized them as classified documents because they claimed Trump had no further classified documents in his possession. In a june meeting at Mar a Lago convened only because of another subpoena, Trump's lawyers refused to let government reps open the remaining boxes kept in storage. They subsequently send a letter to the Justice Dept claiming that all classified documents had been returned. We now know this was false. 

It was out of desperation that NARA called in the FBI.

You people here actually expect Trump to be indicted for a doc dispute? If you do, you are clearly deluded.

But, despite the questionable leaks to WAPO, what and where does a state or fed prosecutor take this silly doc dispute?

 

The nuclear codes leak, where's the evidence, somewhere in the 22 pages of redactions in the affidavit? I doubt it. A doc dispute? You think it's just because they were pieces of paper with writing on them that makes for all this fuss? It depends on what was written on them. Apart from the fact that Trump's people apparently lied most likely at his behest, which would be obstruction of justice and that he refused to obey a grand jury subpoena, another crime, the fact is that he left the information highly classified documents exposed to possible enemy acquisition. A resort with guest everywhere is hardly a secure place. The Secret Service is there but to guard the President and his family, not to guard documents. People have been jailed for what he did. Why should he get a break?

Trump leaked the raid on Mar-a-Lago. More likely that DOJ would not have released any information about it until Trump was indicted after mid-term elections.

So how is this a stunt to distract America from Biden?
