Dialemco Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Would be interested to know what this man is alleged to have done as must have been very serious to attract a settlement figure of Bht 200000 and who will actually receive this money 2
Popular Post harrycallahan Posted September 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 7, 2022 What 200,000 every time a ladyboy grabs your nuts/wallet? Walking Street is a gold mine for male tourists. 3 5

An interesting question is whether the woman would feel the same had it not been... and how much the initial monetary offer, that she rejected, was. After that point she was just haggling?
ezzra Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Hopefully this shameful behaviour and it's out come will be given publicity in India to warned all would be tourists to behave themselves and respect the host country, something that is right now surly lacking...
Popular Post Thomas KH Posted September 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 7, 2022 200k for a non-penetrative sexual offence. That's $5500. No wonder she didn't accept his initial offer of settlement. There was an agenda all along. 6

Popular Post mikebell Posted September 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2022 Does the 200K include the payment to the police for their successful negotiations? 6

No. It only works one-way. If a man, or man pretending or imagining to be a woman, grabs you it doesn't count. Only women can be offended. I see from the linked article that the Indian, just another low-class tourist that Thailand attracts like a bee to honey, is being charged not with assault but for causing chaos in public. Chaos? Really? 4

Popular Post Ironman1958 Posted September 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2022 Sorry, but no Thai lady goes for a 'casual stroll' in Pattaya 'Walking Streets' @ 3am in the morning, unless they are looking for 'something' 8
Popular Post worldexpress Posted September 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2022 Couldn't settle for a bouquet of flowers and a wai? Where does an Indian come up with 200k? An average Indian tourist in Pattaya shakes at spending 200 baht on anything. 3 6

Ohyesuare Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Sad to see all the victim blamers. Pattaya is a tourist city, as much as people who come for other reasons don't think so. Walking Street is a major tourist attraction and it's open late. Not every single women walking there at 3AM or any time is a prostitute and even the ones that are, you can't just grope them all freely. Those saying it's a setup, there's CCTV evidence of what he did and he seemed more than willing from the start to just pay for everything to go away rather than any protests about a setup or even attempts to deny what he did after he was caught. 1 1

Andre0720 Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Could be one hell of a hefty price for a small case of 'misunderstanding', as a Thai would call it... Or this might be one scam that can become a reference for female scam artists in this country. Could very well have gone behind a good looking girl, and grabbed her waist from behind. Only this Indian fellow know which of the above possibilities is the right one. Meanwhile, men, after midnight, stay home... 1

Popular Post Skeptic7 Posted September 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 8, 2022 If Thai, he could have have kicked, slapped and punched her out and gotten off for B500. B200,000 is nothing short of corrupt extortionate robbery in collusion with BIB. 4 3

EVENKEEL Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 He mistook her for a LB probably. Anyway, it's nothing but a money grab. 200K? Are you serious. As a tourist I'd take a LOS entry ban before I'd pay her 200K. Plenty of other places. Now S'pore has some extreme touching policies. 2

Sexual assault is sexual assault and anyone who gropes another person should be arrested and charged It's all about money, I wonder how they agree on the price of 200,000 for a grope? If he pays out we are all in trouble, even the working girls will make much more money being groped 3
