Any folks out there with similar situation/experiences and how do you deal with them <deleted>?

phetphet
I sympathise with you. I had a neighbour in the apartment above me back in the UK that used to do come back late at night with his friends and play loud music all night. In the end I got the local council's Noise Abatement Officer to deal with it. Maybe the local authorities for your area have something similar. I know near where I now live, people complain to the police if the nearby bars are playing too loud, too late. Then they usually get a visit and told to turn down or turn off.
Popular Post jak2002003
Welcome to Thailand....the land of noise.. I would suggest you just put up with it and wait a few weeks to see if they get bored and it stops...once they find another new place to party I would say this is a common problem here ..and they don't have or seem to enforce any noise laws. Like another poster said, it could be just a wedding / funeral or house warming party...they usually only last a week or so. At least you can easily move once your lease is up in a few months if it doesn't stop. In the meantime just put on your own music or watch a movie inside when they are being noisy.
Popular Post petedk
I sympathise with you too. The 2 houses next door to us have been bought up by Chinese who basically run them as a hotel/party house. No matter who stays there they sleep from 7 am to about 4 pm. Then party and make a noise until 6 am. They have cars with 20 doors in each one and they come and go all night. 3

Popular Post phetpeter
You could try speaking to the headman of the village, most places are considerate and I believe that entertainment has to pull the plug normally at 11pm, if hes a nice man maybe he will speak to them or get the local police to visit them. You could also visit the local police station and file a report. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! 2 1

The OP better not confront them if values his skin, and even if moves likely to find more such like <deleted> where he moves to. Popular Post Will B Good
You are doomed. As a farang you have lower standing than a three legged soi dog. Any attempt to deal with the problem will bring a whole load of grief. I would look in the mirror and praise yourself for having rented and not bought, and will be out of this in seven months. We live equidistant from four villages and it is hell on the Earth....... Wait till they start with the karaoke. 3 1
Mickeymaus
I am allways amazed by the Balloon parties of bars here in Pattaya. Speakers 3 meters high at very high volume next to the customer area. Seems to be Thai logic but doesn't make any sense to me. I would not be able to sit there 1 minute. What gets me is when you have a string of bars cheek by jowl all playing different tracks. I have suggested to a few bar owners.....why not get together and play the same track......each bar can take a turn each day/week to choose the music......you'd think I was suggesting free beer and no bar fines.
hansombeast
I think the solution would be to befriend them and buy them a bottle of whisky laced with either sleeping pills or laxatives, good motorcycle earplugs should give you some peace
