Why would they make it up? 5555555555555555

The huge amounts of money to be made for a starter.

When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful
A miracle, oh, it was beautiful, magical
And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily
Oh, joyfully, oh, playfully watching me
But then they sent me away to teach me how to be sensible
Logical, oh, responsible, practical
Then they showed me a world where I could be so dependable
Oh, clinical, oh, intellectual, cynical

What your not getting is the people a the very top who are running the show.....Are already wealthy beyond comprehension......They are worth Trillions of dollars...

Money means nothing to them.........Power means everything...

they may actually get rid of flush toilets at some point.

do you think it's because they want to control how you poop?

or maybe it's because there's a genuine lack of freshwater?

No reason for lack of water in any western country. Just desalinate as much sea water as wanted.

Of course, if they wasted the money on things they should not have been spending money on they may not be able to afford the infrastructure, but that's a political problem.

Yes, just paint me cynical. What else would I be after a lifetime of seeing the <deleted> in charge making things worse?

no the argument is that there is a lack in poor parts of the world.

so it's not fair to be using fresh water for poop when some people dont have fresh drinking water.

the other issue is tears for fears. everybody wants to rule the world.

no matter what the folks in charge do, people will complain.

this is another thread that can go on forever and ever, so i'm bowing out.

i do appreciate your comments.

These polls are an absolute laff. 99% population have the political acumen of a turnip.

Here in paranoid Thailand they think nuclear war is more probable than UKRAINE. Please note additional countries that have filled their populations with paranoia and lies.

The real and immediate problem will be to keep ones head above water when things fall apart this year and beyond.

Ah yes, the world is going to hell and a moon base at a cost of trillions of $ is just what we need. Party on.

70B for another lost war in Ukraine. We are now in last phase of current rules based order. The wealthy are now circling wagons.

One day it will all just seize up like a decade ago although this time there can't be similar bankster mmt applied, inflation will double and everyone shy of a few million dollars will be screwed for the balance of their lives, children..

Desalination is very expensive. Been around forever and still not widely used. This is no solution to anything. Additional unbenefit of appearing woke.

Water wars have been on horizon for decades.

Is Mad Max just a popcorn flick? Or do they make those films to alert us of real potential doomsday scenarios?

I don't know who this guy is or if he has any credibility.

But here are some of his predictions for 2023:

1. Stock Markets will drop 40% during the year and finish down 20%

4. Ukraine War gets settled in 2023

5. A Chinese Economic Collapse is Inevitable

6. The Chinese Communist Party will end in 2023

A wet dream for western investors!

We have to wait and see. I doubt the communist party will end in near future.

If Putin steps down, there is a chance the war is over, but Crimea will stay in Russian hands.

I'm happy to say nothing has changed. Ass still pointing towards the footpath.

Fine, but how will the animals desalinate the sea water?

Composting toilets require no water and make fertiliser. Perhaps all those that care about poor parts of the world can get together and pay for a few million of them to be sent to poor and waterless countries.

Water wars have been on horizon for decades.

See if going without water is a better idea.

IMO the wars of the future in Africa will be about water. Check out what is happening on the Nile.

So you support significant foreign aid for poor countries? Water is a major problem for sub-saharan countries where they have high rates of cholera and the highest rates of death from dehydration due to rotavirus. Water is key to paediatric health, not composting toilets.

NB all the below is IMO

1/ Stock markets are gambling for rich people. Far as I'm concerned they can vanish and the world will be better for it.

4/ Ukraine war will end when American taxpayers stop the government giving all the money to arms manufacturers.

5/ Agree ( if not in 23, some later year )

6/ Dream on. If likely, they will attack Taiwan to unite the country behind them.

The problem is that the rich people can pay the guys with guns more than poor people can.

Wait till AI and robotics can eliminate all the jobs and it really kicks off. I hope I'm not around when it does.

Cleaning the compost for heavy metals and seperate the chems take a quite costly process.

He explains that the main difference between human waste and livestock manure is that human waste contains pathogenic organisms and heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, chromium, lead, selenium and mercury in sewage sludge.  These potentially dangerous substances are not found in livestock manure.

"The EPA makes clear scientific distinctions between livestock manure and human waste, where a significant number and variety of harmful pathogenic organisms and disease causing agents can be found," Dr. Ndegwa said. "For anyone who understands the nature of the two waste streams, there is no scientific basis for classifying livestock manure nutrients the same as sewage sludge as the latter pose significantly higher potential threats to the environment and human health."
