Where can I buy quality running shoes other than The Malls?

I'm looking for a pair of running shoes or cross-fits.  I don't want to deal with going to the big malls.

are there any other places to buy them outside of the Chiang Mai malls?

There's Nike & other shoe brands at the Premium Outlets adjacent to Kad Farang.....

Decathlon has a store out on the great Highway somewhere near the Big C Super Center store.....

Are you looking for quality or a low price?  For quality shoes that are durable then I would skip Decathlon.  Decathlon shoes are fine but the low price usually means lower quality materials. I bought a pair of shoes from Decathlon and they did not last long. RevRunnr has a store inside of Central Festival and they carry most of the name brands.

I have been running for over 35 years and did 5 marathons (of course when I was much younger).  My new favorite brand of running shoes is now Hoka.  Hoka shoes are not cheap (some for over 5,000 Baht).  Hoka shoes offer the greatest amount of cushioning that I have felt in any shoe I have ever worn.  Cushioning is important when one has old knees and joints.

Last better than Nike and Reebok.

And the soles don't fall off.

2 year guarantee.

I bought shoes one time online.  That was a mistake.  The only way to get a good fit is to try them on imho.  I'll check out the CM store.  I didn't know it existed.

I predict will be very happy to have discovered Decathlon in Thailand, as I was.

Super Sport makes returns easy. They bring you another size and take back the pair you tried on that didn't fit. I've bought several pairs online 'cause that's where the best sales are.

'Course you could go to the store, but then you'd have to go to the mall, which would be unpleasant for you.

For comfortable and durable sportswear, I recommend checking out brands like Nike, Under Armour, and Lululemon. Nike's Dri-FIT line is excellent for moisture-wicking during intense workouts, and Under Armour is known for their heatgear fabric that keeps you cool. Lululemon might be on the pricier side, but their gear lasts a long time and feels great.

I also recently discovered Running Supply, which is a directory of the best-designed running shoes, apparel, bags, and accessories. They curate high-quality sportswear from various brands, so it's a great resource to find exactly what you're looking for in terms of comfort and durability. You might want to explore their recommendations to find some top-notch gear for your workouts. You can check it out here: https://running.supply/

SuperSports Factory Store on 3rd floor of MBK.  Supposedly actual name brand according to the videos on youtube, not knock offs.  I think there is one in Pattaya too, in Central Marina Mall.  That one is not called a factory store though, so they may not have the same sort of selection or discounts.  There is also the Outlet Mall on Thepprasit Rd. next to Lotus.

It's all western prices.  If you need to buy North Face winter gear, in Thailand, that's the place to go.  No deals to be had there at all though.

Order from amazon, take 2-3 weeks

I totally agree.

a. After buy stuff locally, whenever possible, I will buy overseas from good companies like Amazon.  I wish I could buy ACs and other heavy stuff overseas, as well. Maybe I can.

b.  But, as for shoes.  I bought these in Thailand at a mall.  The quality is good. But, next time, I will buy from Amazon, even if slightly more expensive.

c. This should is quite good.  However, it looks even better in BRIGHT ORANGE, even though I am not from Norway....

I love ATOMIC ORANGE Nike.

When I can find these on Amazon, I will buy them if I can get a very good price.

These shoes are.....SICK !!!!

I once had some very bright orange Nike shoes, but NOTHING like these.

I got them at the local mall.

The local mall does NOT have these...

I will not run in them. They are too beautiful.

I will wear them when I apply for my 90-Day Report at Thai Immigration, or to church, or for other special occasions.

Just looking at them makes me drool with envy and anticipation....

IT'S ALL ABOUT CULTURE, as I always say.

They will go great with my buttoned-down pinpoint blue Oxford-cloth shirts....!!!!

(Built-in Safety Feature for Thai Traffic, too !!!)

I think you might be confusing Decathlon with some other store?

Why would you think I am confusing it with some other place?  Like I said, Decathlon Thailand has western prices, but they are well stocked for all seasons. Including seasons that don't exist in Thailand.  If you need a -50c down jacket or a winter tent, that's the place to go.

I'm buying running shoes from official pages of Adidas and Nike (.co.th).

Running Ultraboost usually go for 6000 Baht. But If you don't care about color and just a model/size, then you can get them in regular sales for ~3000 Baht. Just last month I got Ultraboost running shoes, they had last pair in last color in exactly my size with something like -60% sale. Instead of 6000 Baht I paid 2700 Baht. 🤑

https://www.decathlon.co.th/en-TH  Almost everything they sell are their own brands, that's why I thought you might have confused it with another store.

Still have no clue what your point is.  Are you not aware they also have physical stores in Thailand?  Did you actually check out any of those so called sales?  Just because they stay stuff is on sale for 75% off or whatever doesn't mean anything.

I have no interest in an internet forum fight.
