Where to meet Hiso Thai women?

Hey all, in bkk now. This is my 3rd trip here in the last 6 years. First time I came over, a friend of a friend (a Thai girl who was helping with bank accounts, lease, translating, etc) attempted to set me up with what I thought was a really good match. She was a make up girl/model who came from a 'good family'. I didn't get involved because of enjoying being single, however really ready to settle down at this point. 

 

Signed up for online dating briefly. Met a doctor and a couple well educated women. But there is something weird going on with those sites, some kind of interference from the outside hard to explain. Anyways, kind of in need of the 'comes from a good family' part, and was hoping people here might be able to steer me in the right direction.

You are confused. There is a massive difference between a Hiso girl and a woman who comes from a good family. So, what do you want because I can almost guarantee you that you don't stand a 0.000001% chance with a "hiso" woman.

 

Hint: Even girls from good families won't touch a guy who comes and goes from Thailand with a 6 foot pole. As an experienced guy like yourself who dates a lot have you not noticed that "good" women will always ask you if you are a tourist in Thailand before they go on a date with you?

Maybe you're right, and I'm confused the difference between 'good family' and 'hiso'. The unexplained 'interference' is what I'm looking a partner to help with. Somebody with resources to call in favors, threaten, good lawyers, etc, whatever it takes for normalcy to prevail I guess so maybe I should have just said background of wealthy. 

 

Not to brag, but I think I would stand a good chance. Looking at my resume you would probably ballpark around 25 million, although only a fraction was spent for that appearance. Into things money can't buy obviously, or I would have the resources to handle on my own.

25 million is probably chicken feed to an actual hiso women. How many hiso Thai women do you know married to farangs?

 

The obvious danger to you is that your 25 million will likely be reduced to 25 thousand in short order, by some gold digger. Sawatdee sucker.

I don't remember where I read it. But there was this: how to be part of the HiSo in Thailand.

 

Basically it is simple. Go to one or a few or the best jewelry shops in Bangkok and spend money. Preferably a lot of money. And if you do that then they will invite you to their parties which are attended by all those other people who spend a lot of money on jewelry. Do that again and again and you are a member of the club.

Maybe just find a good lawyer on retainer with your 25m?

That will be cheaper than marrying someone when you see a relationship mostly as transactional.

Let's say you meet the perfect woman, rich influential, even pretty. Perfect!

And you go out with her and have a good time and you want to marry her.

And then you discover that she is also a little crazy. Maybe she likes to play the domina or something not so dramatic.

And then you think about if maybe you shouldn't marry her. But she introduced you already to her parents. And she loves you, she wants to stay with you. And if you break up with her she will be very unhappy. And her rich and powerful well-connected parents will be very upset.

Do you want a situation like that?

You are even more confused than I thought.

 

Man I don't even know where to start. Definitely if you have to ask on this forum you don't have it. My wife is middle class, not hiso and she has plenty of connections. Most of those were made when she was studying at the university here in Bangkok. I don't want to "brag" what connections and from where, but they would get me out of jail or more. However, you must be under some grand delusion that these connections are "free". Another delusion is that you think for some reason that woman with such connection would marry a no name Farang. Hint number 2. Why do you think famous actresses and models often marry a police officer or military here even though they earn much less than them?

I’m not sure he means that so directly, that he needs to be regularly bailed out of trouble - rather, I get the impression the Op just wants something in his back-pocket to avoid hassle down the line and live a more comfortable existence here. 

 

Life is often easier for people with access to ‘connections’ as many threads on this forum have proven. 

Have the BiB try and extort you and a phone call to a friend stops the hassle in its tracks. 

Get involved in a car accident that wasn’t your fault where they are trying to pin all the blame on you, a phone call to a ‘friend’ ensures you no longer suffer unfair treatment... etc etc...  many situations... 

 

There are plenty of females around, well educated, financially independent and well placed on the socio-economic spectrum...  meeting such a person and dating them excludes a relationship from the usual paranoia when meeting a Thai lady, i.e. is she interested in a foreigner for money etc... If the female has her own money, is educated, well placed in society etc she’s only going to be interested in you as a foreigner because she likes you, you have game, you look good etc etc...  It's more similar to a relationship many would be in back in their home countries. 

 

I would guess there are number of posters on this forum who are in such relationships but don’t mention them too much as they attract too much jealousy from the mongers who respond with bitter comments, accuse the posters of lying etc... we’ve seen this with the ‘bitter comments’ about paled skinned women etc..

 

The best way to meet educated, financially independent female who are well placed in the socio-economic strata of Thai society (i.e. middle class and up towards those considered hi-so) is generally through introduction by trusted friends.... 

 

If you are someone who has been here for a while has mixed, made Thai friends of similar socio-economic status you will be introduced to others through those friends.... thats pretty much the way it works anywhere. 

 

The term ’socio-economic status’ may not be a popular one... but really, thats what we are discussing isn’t it....  The Op wants to meet someone of better ’socio-economic status’ than the average foreigner meets in a bar, night club etc...

If you are from the UK then the equivalent of HiSo would be the real "Upper Classes" 

It stands for High Society, so whilst some people think it means rich, someone can be rich and definitely not HiSO.  

Just like in the UK you get people who are rich, but lack sophistication and the correct upbringing to be allowed into the real upper levels of society.


What you are looking for is Upper Middle Class Thais who are wealthy enough to have sent their kids to school and/or University overseas.

Agree, was thinking the same.  Let's approach this logically.  A guy who claims to have 25 mil and is wanting a female who's well connected to get him out of jams....hmmm, maybe a trafficker or embezzler running from the law and/or other gangsters.  One would think these sort of guys would have their own connections.

I have dated a few in Bangkok.  Just stand at the Asoke sky walk at lunch time 100's of them.

All of them had big debt/financial issues.

Not just a few thousand baht, but talking millions.  And, they are so into themselves narcissistic it is sickening. 

So, becareful what you wish for I believe some rice farm girl in Isan is a better option.
