Not my area of extertise however i'm now firmly fixed in 'absolutely don't believe anything you read/see on any news services, any country. All of them. 

 

If you bother to monitor a few stories you quickly see/realize other information which proves that many stories are blatant lies, the 'journalists/media outlets' involved are very dishonest and know it but  have no hesitation to tell lies and spread deliberately inaccurate comments all with a political purpose.

The fact of Fox News' popularity is not the issue. The issue is the hard evidence that Fox News Hosts, including Carlson knew that lies were being propagated about the 2020 election and helped promote them.

They claimed in court it is just entertainment and no reasonable person would believe them....maybe they should run in a scroll across the screen saying what you are watching is entertainment and no person with an IQ in triple digit  person would believe what you see or hear here.

 

.....yet fox continually doesn't say fox entertainment...it says fox "news" with a lot of "fair and balanced" BS promos which implies journalism with at least some minimal standards of integrity....they know full well that their success come from slinging mud, innuendo, pumpimg conspiracy theories, telling outrageous lies, and appealing to their right wing viewer base that wants nothing but dirt and garbage and the more outrageously crazy the better. 

 

Fox has done more to promote trump and his gang of batshxxt crazy loons than anyone....of course they knew it was all BS but when it came to do we tell the truth or do we spread the BS they time and again chose to spread the lies, stoke hatred and violence all in the name of fame for themselves and the almighty dollar.  Fine patriots that hide behind the flag and stand for nothing that any half way intelligent American would call patriotism.

So you don't care that Tucker Carlson isn't a journalist and doesn't report news.  As placeholder shows, neither does Tucker Carlson.

So Democrats have a tendency to get their news from different sources, including right-wing media. That's a sound behaviour in order to be able to compare and balance information and POWs.

Like many "Fox defenders' on here, you are confusing popularity with integrity.

No one is denying that Fox News is popular, but the post is that they knowingly and willingly lied to their viewers and continue to do so on a daily basis. The headline is 'Fox News has been exposed as a dishonest organization terrified of its own audience'. Can you (or any Fox defender) maybe try and counter-argue this ascertion without resorting to whataboutism and deflection?

I watch both channels daily. Not an American but it doesn't take much 'analysis' to see that both channels lie outright. They both conveniently fail to show anything that is against their owners interests or likely to alienate their core viewer base.
