Report them for using to many quotes.

They'll get a notice to stop using to many quotes in future posts from a forum administrator and their post will be deleted.

He signed up a few weeks a go and is stalking many posters .

He just seems to post emojis and never writes anything, that "somebody" seems to be a right weirdo

Yes ban him

@still kicking

You started a thread about the same topic a week or so ago, which was locked by a mod.

I suppose you still don't understand something about the forum. I am fairly new here but I have tried to observe and work out how it works.

I assume you are talking about notifications you get. I have noticed two types.

1. posterxyz quoted you in a topic

2. somebody reacted to a post in a topic

In type 1, the poster is named. If you click on the notification, it will take you to the post so you can see what they wrote and you can reply if you want. .

In type 2, the poster is not named. It just tells you a member has reacted by giving you a thumbs up, like, etc. If you click on that notification, you can see what reaction type you got but as has been pointed out to you in this thread and your "what is the point" thread, those reactions are anonymous.

there's a third notification, "userX mentioned you in a post" or something like that. it only works if you let the software auto-complete the username then select from the drop-down, eg @asf6not @asf6.

This has been asked and answered many times.

"Somebody" is simply a system message, nothing more and NOT a members name.
