Are the English/Philippino boiler room outfits a good thing in Jomtien ?

Featured Replies

The scum have been away for 3 years but they are back with a vengeance with their laundries. It's a shame.

"with their laundries"...actually lately the number of large 'do it yourself laundries' with very good industrial machines have sprung up everywhere. Very convenient for having clean clothes, as the scum comes right off.

(of course silly posts need silly answers).????

Seems we are having a surge.... the dodgy refund emails are back in my Spam of late!

If you talk about the boiler room outfits which cheat people to get lots of money: They are kind of good for the local business, because those guys spent huge amounts of money inside Thailand.

Obviously that money comes from some people who won't be happy about that. But the normal boiler room policy is not to take money from anybody local to make sure the local authorities are not upset.

OP what the heck is this all about?????

Good to know it's a Jomtien problem only :cheesy:
