Buriram man charged with rape of 8 year old niece, resulting in pregnancy at 12

A 43 year old man from Buriram province faces charges for the alleged rape of a child resulting in her pregnancy. The Thai man had reportedly raped his niece since the age of eight leading to her pregnancy at the age of 12. The girl’s mother sought help from authorities, exposing the abuse that had gone unnoticed over the years.

Residents in the Naang Rong district of Buriram province reported the case of a man abusing his niece and threatening to kill her if she made the news public. Officers from Naang Rong Police Station arrested the alleged rapist, Thanakrit, also known as Noi, the uncle of the girl, who is a sixth-grade student. He is being investigated and charged with child molestation, rape of a minor, and physical assault.

The girl’s mother, A (pseudonym), 37 years old, alerted the police about her brother Noi sexually abusing her daughter Yui (pseudonym) since she was in the second grade, aged just eight. The continuous abuse eventually led to a two-month pregnancy.

If this is proven to be true, Thanakrit, also known as Noi, the uncle of the girl, should be executed within the next 30 days, with no trial, and no chance of appeal. Just sufficient proof, and off he goes. You do not deserve the oxygen you consume, and you are a burden to society, on every level. No need to provide for you, in prison. See ya.

Im reluctant to agree in cases a man is convicted if there is even a 1% chance it's a false conviction. But in this case, a DNA test on the foetus and I agree. Except why wait 30 days?  Chain him up for 48 hours and allow family access to enact revenge and then bury whatevers left alive.

raping a child for 4 years and the only problem was is that she got pregnant?

Otherwise "nitnoy koday?"

This is sickening

True. However, if there is absolute proof, which cannot be disputed, or trust worthy eye witnesses, then let his life end. No justifiable reason to burden society with a slug like this. Take him out. As quickly as possible. Bye bye.

So the mother was aware it was gaing on all this time and did nothing.  She should be brought up on charges too.

Given that language is ambiguous and also it's gone thru translation I wouldn't be sure she was aware.

The DNA test should be concluded before a final decision is made. If Noi is the father of the child, he must pay for its upbringing.

Calls for an immediate death sentence do not take into account the girl and her child will be in abject poverty without parental support. A 12 year old cannot be expected to take care of a child.

According to the full article that is linked to, the abuse only came to light after the girl missed her period and told her aunt about it (and how it had been going on for four years). The mother was apparently unaware of what had been going on until after the girl told her aunt.

totally agree ..... she sounds like a nasty piece of work ....   she knew this was going on for years and did nothing.

No, that was not what was reported.  The mother reported that, after the story came out, her daughter had been abused since the age of eight, it did not state that she had been aware of it for those years.

The child will have her mother, grandmother and aunts, she will not be without parental support.   The only one who will not be there will be the rapist uncle.

Nonsense, read the full article properly, she was not aware of the abuse until she was told by her sister after the child confided in her.

Ridiculous.

She was either not there or perhaps a stoner in the typical mute state of awareness.

That's even more ridiculous, what do you base that on?  The mother was there, she lived in the house with the family and there was no suggestion that she was a stoner.

How much is his body worth?
Sell every body part of him while still alive and use the money to raise the child and give it a good future.
Start with his inners and his eyes.

Didn't notice or didn't really care.

Obviously he is sick. Do we need to kill sick people or give them treatment?

It is not a case of a one time thing, four years!

He should have looked for treatment himself, too late now.

No amount of jailtime will fix him, many are the stories about rapists

who get out of jail and rape again.

My brother in law in the UK abused my niece from the age of 8 before running off to Australia after the cops interviewed him. Her mother, my sister did not know but his wife did. He like this guy will have excuses like he loved her and never hurt her/she led him on or it was consensual. Even if they do admit it they justify it, rarely will a pedophile think they have done wrong. My sister killed herself over it, he's still at it now married to a Thai with kids! Death is the only cure for these monsters.

So what?  What's the relevance of your dirty old brother and his complicit wife to my comment about this child's mother who was not, apparently, in on it?

What if she was your Daughter, or young Sister, or Niece?

Many Thai parents have little time for their children.  Add to that the great trust given to "family".  It's perfectly possible that if the child showed no obvious "signs", the mother didn't know.

Unfortunately, child predators are able to convince their victims that they have a genuine relationship or that something bad will happen to their family if they tell.

It could be possible that the uncle "watched" the child regularly and the rest of the family simply thought he was being a good uncle.  It would be hard to pass up some free child care from a family member who they believed they could trust.

All very sad, but also very common.
