I doubt he cares.  It's just a discussion thread to try and get some interest/banter going.  There's no necessity to participate in it or even read it!

Ok then she worked for Nasa then worked as a brain surgeon. Now selling Somtam part time.

My Thai wife was a doctor of medicine and an orthopedic specialist, sadly now departed.

She died of lung cancer from her fathers continuous chain smoking, as did her 2 sisters and her mother.

Interesting, I was there yesterday. My wife is opening a restaurant in Sukhothai, near Wat Chai Udom.

When we met, she was working for a Japanese Tech company called Minnebea, in Lopburi.

Her parents moved there a couple of years ago, actually her father died last week and we were there for the funeral.

My wife's brother's wife's family are originally from there.

Was in an accounting/claims audit position for insurance company, resigned 2013; this month marks the tenth year in an accounting role with an engineering company - I think she's there for life - good staff, good employer and annual bonus system.

Luckily (haha) I met and married a professional gambler about a year after I decided to pursue the same career.  She had already been a professional poker player for years and was adding the game I was focused on to her repertoire.

She was a new face to me as I already knew most of the full time professionals that pursued the same source of income.  I asked her where she learned to play and she played dumb as she preferred everyone to think she was just a recreational gambler.

Later this year we will celebrate our 24th anniversary.

My wife is the 1st university graduate from her family....

She worked 17 years for a Nissan manufacturing subsidiary in a management position....

She's a full time housewife & our oldest daughter just became the 2nd uni grad in the family....

My wife is quite content with her gardening & caring for the rest of us + pets.....Which she does splendidly.....

No wives, just exes.  Ex #2 was working as Dek Serve in Morning Night Bar in Nana. Now (AFAIK), she is unemployed and living in Patong.

Ex #3 was working for a Japanese hard disk manufacturer in Wang Noi.  Now she runs her small hotel in Phuket (since about 2012).

Ex #4 (wait! - that hasn't happened yet....)

So she is different!

If you are going to feed the troll, well done for taking the piss.

Will be a difficult one to fit onto his spreadsheet on "how many farangs marry bargirls" though!

Why would care?

Always looking for new hunting fields.

Knew it would be a sensitive issue for some of course, but some interesting responses here dont you think?

I have also had a lot from Japanese companies.

Probably partly because there are so many, and partly because they are usually away from their home towns and associated gossip, are a bit lonely and are more free to date.

Brain surgeons and astronauts apparently.

We all have seen those. Taking on a bargirl would be hard work. Be interesting to see if any who have done so, have had their wives/ girlfiends actually moved on and found gainful employment rather than just live off the monger.

Maybe those who have fell down that hole might read this thread and think to themselves "i can do better".

I think the ones who have fell down that hole would be newer to Thailand types and are easily latched on to.

Those with more experience figure out something better.

So many beautiful, gainfully employed single girls in Thailand. The smarter blokes figure it out and do very well.
