Red Bull boy is young enough that he will wait out the statutes of limitations and reenter Thailand a completely free man (while thumbing his nose at the family of the police officer he killed and Thai 'commoners' in general).

IMO if the new Justice Minister wants to chance his luck, then he needs to be reminded that he is easily replaceable.

Also, he is allowed up to 120 days in a hospital outside which can specialize in his "health conditions". So, that will be it, no time served. We all know it's pure garbage.

 

The door has also been left open regards ' politics ' as the statement from the Royal Gazette mentions that not only was he was loyal to the monarchy but also his experience and expertise will be useful for the new government and benefit of the country.

Strange, I haven't seen any of this ever since he returned to Thailand. I've never heard of ordinary prisoners being taken to the hospital in the middle of the night either, by helicopter no less.

Not all Interpol Red Notices can be looked up by the public. In fact, only a minority of them are searchable.

 

As the Interpol website says:

But the RTP cannot arrest 'Boss' so easily whilst he is not in Thailand.

 

Firstly they have to issue a Red Notice through interpol. Then the country he is in has to issue a warrant for his arrest through that country's legal system.

 

There also needs to be an extradition treaty between Thailand and the country he is found in. Only then can Thailand claim him and send the RTP to bring him back to Thailand.

 

The system falls down if Thailand does not issue a Red Notice for his arrest, and it appears that they have not.
