The locale is teeming with tourists, both families and couples, laying their mats in the designated zones, while others opt for the available canvas beds.

 

Local vendors beam with joy as their goods find eager buyers. The bustling atmosphere and invigorating air quality, free from city pollution, makes the beach a sought-after retreat.

Mr. Lakhon Boonprom, 42, who brought his family from Bangkok, praises the refreshing environment and particularly clear waters this season.

 

His testimony stands as an open invitation for others to discover the charms of Bang Saen Beach during the holiday, a sanctuary where the air is pure, the waters clear, and smiles are as abundant as the waves lapping the sandy shores.

Am I imagining that some months ago there were complaints the place was a bit of a mess and somewhat blighted by fighting gangs of youths?

Just makes you want to pull on a pair of jeans and a shirt and go for a swim! 😏

How do they manage this with Pattaya's filthy beach just round the corner & refuse being burned in every Wat??

Not for me thank you - hordes of noisy if nice people, heaps of traffic, no parking, ripoff prices - that is not my cuppa. 

This is my preferred type of location.

Looks like hell on Earth.....I can hear the music pumping out from where I am in Isan

Any weekend, long or short, at a tourist destination is not going to be bliss, unless a party animal yourself.   Especially if within a few hours drive from Krung Thep.

No parking  anywhere  and the few toilets that exist are filthy. However if it keeps Bankokians away from Jomtien  then yes!!!  

I have been there a few times and it's great!

Crystal clear water in the north of  Gulf of Thailand? Do me a favour.🙄

I haven't been to Bang Saen for years as I found it a packed and filthy turdhole. Definitely would not ever use the words "crystal clear" in the same sentence as Bang Saen unless it has been considerably cleaned up; I'm not going to go there myself to find out. Has anyone been there in the last couple of years?

 

I just got back from Samet which really did have clean beaches and crystal clear water and wasn't half as packed.
