Probably younger than my age, due to a full head of brown hair with a bit of gray at the temples.  My father kept his full head of salt and pepper hair until he passed away at 95, so here's hoping . . .

Former case officer....and I can make my pecs bounce one at a time or both at the same time. When I get cold, sometimes they bounce on their own. Scares the bejesus out of people, as they think it's either a heart attack or I'm auditioning for Aliens 4 and a monster is about to pop out of my chest. It's just way too many push-ups, bench presses and genetics.

 

(Apparently, the more muscles one can control voluntarily---like wiggling ears, flaring nostrils---or in my case bouncing pecs, means one can develop them more. Great dancers and athletes can control a good many of their muscles, due to extensive innervation, which equates to coordination.)

 

As for old looking....I'm probably not like all the other posters here, as it seems everyone looks two decades younger than they are. I can't beat that. Then again, I don't have cataracts, but I suspect many of these guys who 'look' so much younger do have them.

 

If guys are not lifting weights, I guarantee they don't look as young as they think they do. Walking or bicycling---especially in the sun---isn't going to do it. Lack of muscular definition equates to looking older. Rounded shoulders, a slight paunch, turkey gobbler neck...weight training can hold all of that off, but not just cardio. Also, lifting heavy weights for a few reps gets the body to produce both testosterone and HGH, both of which do many things, including making the skin more supple and not look dried out.

Guys have a tendency to think that girlies have similar norms for looks on the opposite gender then we do. Ladies often do not.

 

Girlies look far beyond and deeper inside, considering of course that the chap does pass the mental test and has basic to acceptable looks. The top chancers always with hot girls (normal non working girls)  are often average looking lads, and do not have a Panamera parked outside. Thank god for those with no bodybuilding skills and a Honda parked in the garage.

 

Do not forget that society can more or less accept a 65 year old guy with a 27 year old girl.....but rarely accepts the opposite, no matter in which country. Quite unfair, I agree.

 

Tongues usually wag when a hottie 60 year milf-cougar,  dates a dashing "hansum" 28 year old lad. Unless it's Madonna and even then....

 

Last but not least. The best place to pick up nice girlies  is in a male gay bar 😂. Far less competition guys. Nice girls who have not raised the protective shield barrier and are open to fun that leads to a close-in. Watch out nevertheless not to hit on a ladyboy 🤭

I think his point is that it is delusional  ( he was quoting me).  I Made the statement and still feel the same.   I have got some laughs and find this thread more interesting than most.  The posters as a whole do seem to be delusional.  You must see the Farangs XXX(size) pats but everyone on this thread is fit and handsome.

what about staying up all night partying 3 nights a week AND doing loads of drugs and alcohol?

lead singer of Van Halen David Lee Roth seems to have aged badly.

wonder if it's partying and drugs.

Righto, yes i'm the athletic/low body fat version. Body weight exercises are my staple.

 

I respect the effort bodybuilding takes, but most guys then just look like fat blokes when they get older. The really serious ones are usually doing all kinds of bodily abuse too.

 

People tell me I look younger, but I often feel older.

He must be around 70!  How many 65 yo Thailand xpats are as healthy looking?  5-10 years ago he had less wrinkles but he seems to have lost 5 kilos and hence the wrinkles. Elastic skin is illusive as we age and dropping weight causes the dreaded sag. Looks like drugs, if they don't kill you, have less impact  than expected for many.

Yes, on the extremes, it is usually quite obvious that they have prematurely emptied the tank.  I stay away from the hard stuff because the risks are not worth the benefit.

Brave to post a pic and shows your confidence.  Strike me as the type that is comfortable in their own skin which most are not.  I think there are a few people that hate me on this forum so I can't post a pic.  Just have to take my word for it that I'm hansom and doubt you care anyhow.  Cheers

The packaging looks great, its the contents that has the problem.

If everybody looks a lot younger than they are, what does age actually look like? Is there anybody left to look their age?

 

I'm beginning to think there's kind of a Dunning-Kreuger or Downing Effect even with one's appearance re age.

remember at 17 many guessed my age as 20 something, now people guess my age as 60 something, really 73 in a months time
