Drunken Farang yobs in the morning.

Featured Replies

Over the past few days I have noticed a sharp increase in the amount of drunken deranged foreigners on the streets in the early morning.

mostly heavily tattooed, shirtless, out of their minds drunk.

as I haven’t been out much during low season is this the new normal now? Must we put up with these aggressive drunken idiots whilst we have a beer with our breakfast!”?

I just wish the lot of them would stay home, they are an utter embarrassment to themselves and to us.

  • No foreigners in my MooBaan, hardly any foreigners in my local area either. I'd suggest moving out of the foreigner ghetto.

  • Sounds like you just fit in with them... jealous they take too much attention from you?

  • Like looking into a mirror, isn't it?

I try my best to avoid them but sadly the bars attract these dregs of society. He’s got a nitrous oxide canister in his mouth now…

You’ve now graduated from an observer to a commenter.

I see this in Pattaya all the time , of course Bali ,Kuta is full of these drunken young farangs that's why I stay away from Bali

But yes as Thailand becoming more popular because of its lax drug laws the young yobbo 's are coming to wreak havoc.

Look I saw a drunk young guy tattoed one early morning up outside the Subway shop  in Jomtien

Laying in the gutter blubbering away ,his wallet was laying nearby so I quickly scooped it up and left the blubbering idiot to sober off .

No such yobs in Hua Hin we are to busy watching our paint dry 🤔

Would be worrisome to have people having some beer with breakfast, hoping that this would not become a new normal...

If you didn’t go out bevvying at breakfast you wouldn’t meet them.  Maybe you need to switch to more upmarket bars for your early morning kick-start on the ski-jump to depravity.

or start at lunchtime, and pick the pace up more sharply.

I’d not ask that question with respect to mirrors.

I have noticed there is  quite a few more of those types wondering around Bangkok. Tbch I’m a Brit and maybe 20 or more years ago I would have fitted quite nicely into that demographic. It’s no coincidence this has coincided with the new weed regs.  My son who lives in LA and works in the industry and has said to me many have come to make their fortune in Thailand.  This will be mostly of the type described in this thread.  Anyway I’d rather be in a bar full of them than those annoying hippy top knot idiots which have also arrived in numbers .
