I am no expert but have been to a lot of bars in scotland, ireland, england etc over the years.....i remember well going to some big pub once on a sunday afternoon in ireland ..the pub was packed with maybe 100 guys and about 3 or 4 not very attractive gals who got an inordinate amount of attention from the guys....seemed pathetic to me but of course could have happened in any number of countries and certainly not just scotland etc....also been to bunch of bars in usa and oz and not all that different in many where the guys outnumber the gals ten to one and the few gals that are there would be in the back of the back row in thailand with no attention from guys but in usa  they had guys tripping over themselves to try and get "lucky"

 

so i suspect many contrast that with bars in thailand where there are often way more gals than guys and the gals are available to "entertain you" for a price and at least make you feel like you are a young tom cruise for a while...

The answer lies in the relative number of layers of clothing Scottish and Thai women wear.

Easy answer. The same reason men from all over the world renounce their native women and come here in search of a real woman. 

 

I think a large part of the equation is the erosion of femininity in the west. It has gotten so bad, that masculinity is now considered toxic. This is an existential threat to civilization, no doubt. It is me-too, and uber-feminism that has been the real nuclear bomb to relationships and a woman's ability to express herself, have sex freely, date normally, manifest the incredible dignity within femininity, and relate to men, in a healthy manner. It seems to contribute to an extremely unfulfilled female gender, and has resulted in making life very difficult for most men in the West. Post Covid, things are even worse than before.

 

Thankfully, little of that toxic nonsense has reached the shores of Thailand. Women here seem to intuitively know how powerful their innate femininity is, and they use it to the fullest. I am very thankful for that. I think many have simply rejected alot of mind numbingly wrong headed Western notions, that women are saddled with. 

 

The most important aspect of this, that most Western women cannot see, nor understand, is that most Asian women are very comfortable manifesting the dignity and beauty within femininity.

 

For most men, that is incredibly appealing, and a hugely refreshing change from what they have become used to, and learned to tolerate.

Not in Hua Hin. Many Western guys are with ugly hookers, many Western guys are with beautiful Western women. 

Westerner, including me think all Thai women are exotic at first. Roll on a decade or 2, we realize they are not. 

Also, the Westerners with Thais mostly can't fit into Thai society as their women is on the lower rung of the hierarchical social ladder and the man doesn't even get on the ladder.

Age difference, my wife was 24 when I met her when I was 35. Not much chance if that in Scotland.
