Ubon Ratchathani—On December 8th, 2023, Muang Ubon Ratchathani police received a complaint from a grocery store owner that a foreigner allegedly made a mess in front of their store by urinating and defecating before driving his pickup truck off in Mueang Ubon Ratchathani.

The shop’s CCTV captured the moment when a pickup truck had stopped in front of a grocery store and one of the unidentified foreigners walked somewhere else with a woman while another foreigner stepped out of the vehicle to urinate and defecate in front of the store.

 

Ms. Chuenjit Suesatdamrongkit, a 40-year-old grocery store owner, stated her reason for filing a complaint to the police officers was that she wanted the suspect, who allegedly made a mess in front of her store, to be aware of his actions.

virtually impossible to say from the photo but I would say it was probably one of the above,  I would put money on it

..................filed a complaint ....suspect aware of his actions.   I would think he was very aware of his actions. Maybe Ubon Ratchathani is a dump but not a public dump.

I've sometimes had to stop for a quick leak while driving, however, I've always searched out a secluded spot with some trees and bushes, but taking a dump is a totally different matter, you'd think he could have hung on until they reached the next gas station.

It's a common sight to see a taxi driver pull up just before a fully open service station and urinate on the sidewalk.

It's kind of childish to think this way. Just because some Thais are doing it, then it's ok for foreigners too or the other way around. 

More of the quality tourists that Thailand believes it can attract?

I can't tell his nationality either as his todger is pixelated, but if you count the pixels he's quite well endowed so most probably not Chinese......
