Thalang, Phuket-On Wednesday, March 27th, authorities arrested two illegal Myanmar workers during inspections at construction sites in the Sri Soonthorn sub-district.

The Phuket Provincial Administrative Office conducted checks at four construction sites in the Baan Ya and Baan Bang Jo areas between 9:00 A.M. and midday.

 

A total of 154 documents related to migrant workers were reviewed.

Did they perform a safety inspection at the same time... or just the heavy handed approach to migrants trying to build Thailands infrastructure.

Two, or two hundred?

Arrest whomever allowed them on-site?

Arrest project management that solicited these workers?

No.

And so trafficking continues.

Saves them from getting killed by toppling cranes. Always go for the low hanging easy fruit, instead of the people in charge.
