There are separate totals for the UK and England - which rather undermines the reliability of this chart.

BREAKING NEWS! Iran potentially triggers World War 3   IMO that headline is incorrect. It should be "Israel potentially triggers World War 3" which it did when it attacked Iranian sovereign

  • Iran???? Imo it's aggressive Israel who is responsible if it comes to war. 🥴

The hamas terrorists wear civilian clothes, like cowards, and hide among civilians in schools, hospitals, etc. Their leaders, who stole billions from the palestinians hide in Qatar like cowards.  Hamas gives themselves up, release all hostages and return the stolen billions and all stops.  The Palestinians themselves know about the tunnels as they took years to build.  They stand there and take the punishment instead of turning Hamas in.  You have no clue.

Have you any idea the power of the Israeli(US) army?

It would be suicide to say 'hey Israel, 2pm at the border, you against us'. When dealing with bullies, drastic measures are required. This conflict did not start on Oct 7!

The ongoing aggression by Israel against Gaza has created an imbalanced power dynamic where the Palestinian people are severely disadvantaged. IDF's  superiority, backed by advanced weaponry(from US) leaves Gazans unable to match the Israeli army's might. This power asymmetry, coupled with discrimination, apartheid-like policies, and rampant human rights violations such as arbitrary detentions without trial, creates a sense of desperation among the oppressed. When faced with relentless oppression and limited means to defend themselves, some individuals tragically resort to acts of terrorism as a desperate attempt to resist occupation and draw attention to their plight. While I don't justiify terrorism , I understanding the root causes, including the unequal power dynamics and systematic injustices.

This is a retaliation to Israel bombing Iran's Sovereign territory and causing the death of it's citizens.  Israel was already bombing Hamas.

It was a retaliation to Israel carrying out a precision strike on IRGC designated terrorists in the Iranian consulate in Syria who are financing and helping Hamas. Let’s get facts right. Had Oct 7th not happened, then there would have been no strike. The trigger was Hamas terrorists.

Yes especially if the Palestinians are unarmed, carrying white flags, and well out of reach, so history has shown us.

You chose either a very unfortunate, or else an entirely appropriate, screen name.

One might even replace "German" with the name of the governing Party in the 1930s and 1940s.

Another one weaponizing antisemitism.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out that Biden's administration has more Jews that any other religion.

Can we talk about the lack of Muslims in the Senate/Congress?

Of course the US falsify the number of Muslims in the country. Inaccurate representation of Muslim communities in the Census has significant implications for political representation.

Calling out antisemitism is not weaponizing it, not that you would know.

Could you expand a bit more on the Iranian citizens killed in the consulate strike ?

Were they just ordinary citizens visiting the consulate to get their passports renewed or where they there for some other reason ?

     Like organising terror attacks ?

Were they ordinary members of the public or legitimate enemy targets ?

Iran wanted to nationalize their own oil reserves, therefor executed a coup helped with cia to put a dictator in place. a brutal dictator who was protected by Usa until the revolution happenend.

Interesting how time creates its own reality. When I had access, I did a lot of looking into the Mossadegh coup, and tried to parse it against the narrative that is in print. Major differences.

Kermit Roosevelt had a CT (career trainee), a secretary, a $500,000 budget, and little more. He used the funds to buy printing presses and paper, and provided that to anti-Mossadegh forces in Iran. I find it hard to believe that his efforts alone, in a nation of (then) 18 million, toppled the regime. Even if it wanted to do so, it's very difficult for the agency to take any meaningful credit for the coup.

Of much greater import seems to be what the Brits, and British Oil did. Their efforts were much more large scale and involved significantly more money.

Ultimately the Iranian anti-Mossadegh forces prevailed, and the brutality of the Shah and Savak years ultimately resulted in the mullahs and a theocracy. Of course there is no denying that the US, under a host of Presidents from Eisenhower to Carter, supported the Shah.

Do you have a link to back that claim up ?

I did an online web search and there were 8 Catholics and five Jews among his administration , but that was from a few years ago .

Could you provide a link to confirm your claim ?

The last one dropped in anger stopped a war.

100% record so far.

That doesn't mean it 'works' every time, and in every circumstance.

I think old sleepy Joe is responsible for Iran having the go-dads for this strike because old Joe sure does not have any. This strike would have never happened if a true patriot such as Trump were President of the United States. They will bring old sleepy Joe out of the basement for a few get tough speeches and then bring him back down for a nap, Israel is on their own and certainly capable of making glass out of Iran.

*If* Trump had a functional brain, which apparently he doesn't, this is what he would do:

Call for Iran to cease attacking Israel.

If they stopped, he could claim credit for years.

If they didn't, he could blame Biden.

But Trump has nothing to say that is intelligible, because he is clueless about this conflict. And he is paralyzed by fear over his trial.

I know some would like to keep spewing the "Israel is aggressor" rhetoric and deflect from the real axis of evil.

What country is the world's biggest sponsor of terrorism? sowing chaos and death across the world?

A question for those leaders protesting in the strongest possible terms about Iran attacking Israel - what would you do if a country attacked and destroyed one of your consulates, killing many inside? Hmm?
