Endless stress.
Ex-wife, with a new husband (Thai) to whom I left everything, as long as she left me alone. Every two/three weeks she asks for money and money to pay for electricity, water, the installments of the new boyfriend/husband's motorbike, to pay the installments of their apartment and if I don't do, she threatens to report me to the police: for what I don't know, but the mere thought has always made me fall into the trap of this blackmail. But that's enough: she can report me, I'm curious to know for what purpose. Sorry for the outburst.

I think you should better pay. It seems like a very reasonable thing to do.

Ex wife? divorce? clean break, say no. Women here try and hang on to their ATM for as long as possible, sadly men are often mugs

If she really makes your life a misery, then if it is possible, simply up and move to somewhere else in Thailand/Asia and cut all ties with her.

Many years ago, after having 'problems' with my mad ex#2, I simply upped and went to work in Burma, knowing that a Thai women would not follow me there.  It worked and I remained teaching in Burma for many enjoyable years 🙂

Yes, it's worked twice for me in my lifetime. Just up and go. And it works even better if you have, or she thinks you have, nothing more to give. Just do it.

Cut her off. Block all comms. Move elsewhere if she knows where you live because you dont want her showing up out of nowhere after a few weeks. Otherwise shut up and deal with it, it's your choice.

If she is threatening to report you to the police, but won't say why I bet deep down you know why.

Record her making threats ,that if you don't give her money she is going

to report you to the police , try and get her to say what for , then report

her to the Police , it's the only way you are going to get any peace ...

good luck ,  you are paying her boyfriends motorbike installments no no no !

regards worgeordie

You are 100-percent correct.

Those living today must find best strategies to manage ENDLESS STRESS without succumbing to stress-induced illnesses.

This is key for living a slightly better life.

How does one become more resilient?

Such strategies are learned early in life, I think.

If we do not learn them early, then our lives often take a turn for the worse.

Just, please listen to Duckworth, from PENN, concerning how to teach our youth to become more resilient.

This is the best that a parent can do, looking ahead.....

This girl is a Prof at PENN

And, she is ALSO Chinese.

So, for me...

She is just perfect....

(Did you pick up on the alliteration?)

Those kind of blackmail payments never work, they just get bigger and bigger. You're just buying time.

money and money

There's got to be something in it for you, It's not a one way street.

This is a weird story, why don't you make things weird?

How about asking to have a threesome, keep things interesting.

Maybe get the new hubby, get his ex Mrs involved in the party. 🤣

Are you still living close to her?

Why are you still talking to her?

The two questions I always ask the victim of the $cam Thai woman? Where did you meet the lovely creature? And can you speak any Thai?

The last time I had trouble with someone unpleasant, I asked myself: Is there anything that person can do to me (report to the police, publish, etc.) which would be a big problem. I concluded: No.

So, if anybody wants to make trouble, let them try. Just play it cool and don't let her wind you up so much that you do something stupid.

Just move, cut all contact, no forwarding address.

No matter what the situation, it's always best to just pay whatever is asked, and then cut your losses, and then get on to your new life.

NEVER DWELL upon the history of a relationship which has gone bad.

Life is short.

Maybe just move to a new country, and you will feel far better in a short amount of time.

IN FACT, after moving away, and maybe moving to a new country....you will very soon....

Wonder why you were so stressed, in the first place.

CHANGING one's environment, and even moving very far away to a new country, is....

The very best FIX for almost every problem in life.

Please believe me...because....I have had...

Much experience with Psychotic Wives.

Not Joking, Folks!

Agree 100%. I have done that in the past.

And I'll probably never return to the Philippines.

I find this story hard to believe?

Your ex wife demands money and you give it to her? Report you to the Police for what?

Your story makes no sense.

Just get the hell out. Change your phone simcard, move to a new district/province/country and stop communicating with this leech.

Start anew.  It's invigorating getting YOUR life back.

Do it!

But sounds like you married a horrible human being.

You never got any red flags when dating before marriage?

Maybe she has some police friends that can cause you problems.

If so, might be better to move to another area.
