Long stay expats (and those here just for the partying) are a different lot... and Thais love calling them out (by nationality it seems) for their bad behavior (which there is no shortage; and a lot of it alcohol fueled)... seems certain expats/foreigners have a tendency to grow tired of the constraint frustrations associated with living in a very different (sometimes unusual) country.
