I was probably heavier than others of my age during my 20s and 30s at 86 kg, so an extra 4 kg is not an insignificant increase. In my 40s I became addicted to sugar and my weight increased to 100 kg, and did not reduce till I mostly gave up sugar ( pre diabetes diagnosis ). It now hovers around 90 to 95 kg ( without going on any sort of diet, other than less sugar.

It's hard to completely give up sugar as it's in so many store bought food items. The world is awash in sugar.

I accept that you are probably correct as to whom usurped "liberal", but it does encapsulate all that is rotten in western society, IMO. Sadly, every aspect of modern politics of whichever wing or hue has become toxic IMO, and IMO the end of western civilization is nigh. The "barbarians" have been invited in ( just as in the end times of Rome ) and are only awaiting their chance to take over. Hopefully I will have shuffled off by then.

Yes, the Liberal Party morphed into the "Lib Dems", Liberal Democrats. Pretty meaningless in effect. The problems with these words originates in the US. They don't seem to be taught European history, even though most of them came from there. Liberal to them seems to encapsulate everything they despise in modern society, just right of communism, just left of socialism, neither of which political ideologies seems to be taught in American schools even in history lessons. They grow up referring to a huge section of political science as "woke", "liberal", "progressive", "lefty", anti yee haw, deep state, Alex Jones complete and utter bs. Their only sources are YouTube videos and the right wing press.

Besides nice beaches, lakes, mountains, state parks, every food variety worldwide, sports, great fishing and hunting, more freedom, beautiful women, and more things in general to do than ever will be here? Yes, there are still things to like.

I didn't make this post to hate on women in the US (never lived there and never will, just had some friends from there), the rest of the West, or Asia. I don't hate on women. My post is addressing a group of men who have cheered on a certain ideology in a group of societies only to flee the results that they helped create. As predicted they cannot man up and be real but result to attempting to insult me.
