Does it make sense to try to import met?? I thought plenty of local supply

Hès obviously just a small down the line supplier. The main people wouldn't go anywhere near this stuff, never mind receiving parcels of it.

Another quality Russian visitor. Forget to share in profits so off to jail for long long time

Just curious. Do you know any more countries?

Those Russians are mostly Christians.
Always causing trouble those Christians.

I did not directly refer to the Russians in my religion sentence. However, there are many Muslims there too. Approx. 10%.

The percentage of terrorist attacks and bombings made in the name of Christianity compared to the ones made in the name of Allah is almost invisible. Maybe you should read up more before you spout garbage.

To other posters: I know he is just here to troll every thread, but as I say, I can´t help myself. 😉

Yep, he’s <deleted>. Don’t sell hard drugs in Thailand.

Countries that distinguish between soft drugs like cannabis, and hard drugs like opiates and meth have much fewer drug related problems. The only reason they want us reschedule cannabis the same as meth is because certain occupations in Thailand had their profits reduced after cannabis was relegalized.

It had always been legal in Thailand and part of the culture, until the early 70’s  when the US forced the Thais  to make it illegal because “their soldiers were getting too high”.

This was connected to Nixon’s War on Drugs designed to create felons out of pot smokers so they’d lose their rights. The stated intention was to keep <deleted> and hippies from voting for Democrats. That’s why thousands of Thais were sent to prison and many were even executed. Conservative American politics.

What are harping on about?
this is a story about a Russian drug dealer in Thailand.

Absolutely nothing to do with Muslims.

Sounds like you have Muslim Derangement Syndrome

... what's best for him: to languish in Thailand's infamous prisons or to go and die at the front in the war between Russia and Ukraine?

maybe send back to Russia, he might be a deserter, then the firing squad, just joking, rot in Thailand jail is best, unless he pays his way out with a short sentance with a free neck brace

Some nationalities should have mandatory criminal background check from their home country included in a visa application. As a side note, also some dubious followers of a certain religion.

Do you know who is behind the cocaine traffic in South America? I can tell you  it is not Muslims.

So much for posts that say there are little Russians and no problems with them in Hua Hin.  Take a look around the place is full of them.

What is the street value of all this?  Isn't this crime 20 years in thai jail for certain?

This guy is sitting there thinking how f'ed he is.

I'm always  amazed at these busts and the sheer number of doses.  Must be a big demand for these types of drugs.   Which Thais are taking this stuff?    We hear about busts at nightclubs and such but it has to be customer's in the millions.

Sent he drug pushing mutt to the russian front.

That's probably what will happen after serving jail time, then he will be forced to fight in Ukraine like other criminals.

Lieutenant General Phanurat explained that this type of methamphetamine acts as a powerful nervous system stimulant, causing euphoria similar to MDMA. Typically, it can be consumed by smoking, injecting, or ingesting capsules. Despite a decline in methamphetamine incidents over the past five years, the drug sometimes appears in mixtures like "Bath Salts."

Sounds like Phanurat has no idea what they found. It's either meth, or it isn't, similarly, it's either MDMA or it isn't. Unless  mixed with something else they bear each other little similarity

As for Bath Salts, they essentially do not exist in Thailand or are very very niche.

that and he is selling to a very niche crowd, there is very likely a regular Russian party or group of parties nearby or on the islands that he supplies.

Can´t really care less. Whatever religion they are connected with, they probably do not thank it for the cocaine or do the traffic in the name of their religion.

Not at all ant syndrome. I mentioned it in my post as a side note regarding my opinion. After that, you replied and started a discussion about it.

But hey! I can openly say that I do not like Muslims, as there are only two kinds of them. The ones who radicalize their religion, and the ones who quietly stand by their side by not speaking up. Something that means both sides and types condone terror attacks.

Good point! look - it is forbidden to use it in Islam, however its OK to sell it to infidels.

Likely Russian dude was a small puppet they just gave him up to cover bigger "whales". That happens all the time with customs - catch useful idiot to cover real torrent of "vitamins of happiness".

I think that ASEAN NOW should create a special section call , "The Daily Russian Crime Report".

I sometimes wonder if the decision makers in BBK do any basic research before coming up with

wonderful ideas like throwing the door wide open and rolling out the RED carpet for thousands of

people from one of the most corrupt countries in the planet ( transparency.org    World corruption Index) .. Russia ranks 141st in the world in corruption out of 180 countries. The term "Russian Mafia" is not just a metaphor. It is a reality.

There is ample open source information available to anyone wanting to do basic due diligence before making decisions. You don't have to consult MI 6 or the CIA. Of course, there are many fine people from Russia but if you invite a mangy old dog into your house don't complain about the fleas.

Its time for Thailand to join sanctions of USA,EU, Japan, South Korea, Australia and other democrstic countries against nationals of totaliitarian mafia state of Putinstan occuping neighborung Ukraine

Stop favouring russians by giving them 3 visa free stay - impose restrictions  for russian nationals.
This is becoming a threat  to Thai national seɛurity.

All  major resorts of Thailand have been infested of criminal  russians working without work permit, laundering money, buying thai land illegally , running cannabis shops in Phuket, Pattaya , Koh Samui and other touristt resorts and control whores escort services.

The putin war criminals from Wagner group wounded in Ukraine come to Thailand to get medical treatment, putin agents are running thai companies supplying putin regim with items used in russian military productions via  Dubai and Hongkong.

There ia a big risk  fot Thailand to get secondary sanctions of US OFAC  and its sad..

what a load of nonsense that was
