The truth is that Biden had been planning to pull out of the election for months already. He purposely kept it a secret between himself, Harris, and his closest advisors and then waited until just after the GOP convention, once Trump had already made the wrong VP pick, for Biden to finally make his move. He did it to rug pull Trump and the timing of it all worked perfectly.
 

Now the GOP are running scared and are trying to impeach Harris in the House. Trump has even filed a useless complaint against Harris with the FEC because of the hundreds of millions of campaign dollars she has already raised. I love it. It all shows just how badly the MAGA Moonies are strung out, deep in crash recovery mode, and simply don't know what else to do. Desperate times calls for desperate acts. 
 

I'm putting extra butter on my popcorn now and will enjoy watching Harris mop Trump up on the campaign trial, and then eventually win the election in November. Say bye bye to the convicted felon. He's orange toast.

Or Biden accedes to GOP demands that he steps down as President. Which could really backfire. Most new Presidents get a bit of a bounce at the start. Plus there are mountains of merch that become worthless overnight. Some Tippex could turn 7 into 8 I suppose.

 

Truth is that when Trump accepted the early debate, that is when he lost everything. Had Biden done well, then all questions about Biden would have been put to rest and everyone would have been reassured about Biden's capacity to govern. But the opposite happened. Biden debated and looked frail, weak, and disoriented, resulting in a groundswell for him to drop out of the presidential race, which is the last thing Trump wanted--even if Trump didn't realize it himself. Once he accepted the early debate, Trump was going to lose one way or the other. Nothing to do with conspiracies.

That would imply that Biden purposely looked frail in the debate .

I doubt that .

It ignited the internal discussion about how to replace him , and the dems quickly realized that the timing was good for Biden to step down , as Trumps campaign was based on attacking Biden .

Trump already picked his VP candidate and now needs to alter the republican strategy within a short timeframe .

Difficult to do after so much effort to discredit Biden has been done .
