Shingles - Worth the vaccination?
I first had shingles around 10 years ago, I didn't know what it was at the time so I went to a private hospital in Khonkaen where a young lady doctor took one look at the rash and said "I know what that is, it's Herpes Zoster". All I heard was the "Herpes" part and all pain from the shingles disappeared as I thought about the prospect of having herpes. Meanwhile, the doctor was chatting away with my wife, so I interrupted her and asked her to say it again. No change, it's Herpes Zoster, so at that point I engage Mr Google and see that it's actually shingles. I wasn't sure whether to laugh or slap the doctor for telling me I had herpes. Really severe pain for just over a week and then another 4 weeks for it to clear up, since then I have had it two more times but never as bad as the first one. The rash had started at my groin and then travelled around to my back. According to my wife, the wise people of the village called it "moo sawat" and said that if the rash made a complete circle around my waist I would drop dead. Not sure if that was just wishful thinking on her part. -

Thai Khmer - is it alive anywhere in South Isaan?
You must have a serious hick-up! I have lived in Surin and Buriram, and I am pretty sure Sisaket is a city as well as they have buses going there. I also know for a fact there is a lot of people who speak khmer in those cities. So, I guess you are mistaken. -

Health Supplements
I see some people post laughing smileys under my post suggesting nattokinase. What gives? Was it actually funny, or do you have a problem with it? If so, you may be right, but for the love of god, please man up, grow a pair and explain why. In another post in a different thread, I posted something about not being allowed to use the yellow book as proof of address at the land transport department in Pattaya. One poster with I think it was over 100K posts (sic) offered his comment that my appearance was not up to standard. WTF? Was that useful or funny? What does he know about my appearance? He spends all day everyday making BS comments. Oh man! So please, comment, but have something to say, don't be a keyboard warrior loser! -

Reduce taxation by gifting.
How much do you think that 75% should be reduced by, in order to allow for those people who don't earn enough money to pay tax? 25% already file a return, X% don't earn enough to pay tax so they don't file, Y% are tax evaders. What's the value of X and Y? -

Swift endorsement turns more voters from harris than it attracts…
This was written to address the fact that some babies are born alive but with no hope of survival. For instance, babies born without a skull. Previously, the law demanded that even in such a hopeless case, any measure that could prolong the life of the infant should be taken: "The law now requires “all reasonable measures consistent with good medical practice … shall be taken by the responsible medical personnel to care for the infant who is born alive.” What that means, as Liebling noted, is that families and physicians decide together how best to proceed when a termination past the point of viability is tragically required. Thankfully, this is rare, with just 1% of all U.S. abortions happening at or after 21 weeks" https://archive.ph/eOh0L#selection-1107.190-1119.31 -

Borderline chaos: Malaysian tourists banned from entering Thailand
Border drama unfolded yesterday when 39 Malaysian tourists found themselves banned from entering Thailand, thanks to unresolved passport issues, outstanding tax debts, and past criminal records. Kedah Immigration Director Mohd Ridzzuan Mohd Zain spilled the details yesterday, September 16, revealing an array of reasons for the entry denials. “We had 10 cases of damaged passports, torn, waterlogged, missing pages, and even scratches. “There were also 20 cases related to income tax arrears and nine cases involving Customs issues, making the cross-border journey even more challenging for those involved.” These discrepancies came to light through data from the Bukit Kayu Hitam Immigration, Customs, Quarantine, and Security Complex. To avoid such holiday hiccups, Mohd Ridzzuan advises all Malaysians to verify their travel eligibility online using Immigration’s Travel Check System portal before setting off on international adventures. This year, Malaysia Day fell yesterday, September 16, coinciding with the celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, gifting Malaysians a three-day holiday, with some private sector employees enjoying an extended break today. According to The Sun Malaysia, nearly 100,000 Malaysian tourists flocked to southern Thailand during the holiday, pumping over 1 billion baht (US$30,068) into the local economy. Would these meet the OP's needs? https://www.lazada.co.th/products/orz-rosewood-walnut-black-surround-sound-speaker-bookshelf-stand-i3117076396.html https://www.lazada.co.th/products/qbag-rosewood-black-walnut-surround-sound-speaker-bookshelf-stand-i246816447.html Otherwise, I'd head over to Ban Mo. Edit: In case you have F..Me money, I did a sort from high price to low and found these: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/klipsch-ks-24-bookshelf-i4837603550.html Several other redonculous prices with a Lazada search for "speaker stands" -

I hate Kamala Harris
I dont hate kharris , I hate what she stands for. Right now she is pivoting to attract undecided swing state voters , like biden did in 2020. some say she is further left than biden. “In the 116th Congress (2019-2020), 45 Democrats served in the Senate and cast a sufficient number of votes for reliable analysis. Of those 45, Harris had the second-most liberal voting record after Warren”. https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/4816859-kamala-harris-is-extremely-liberal-and-the-numbers-prove-it/ -
