BUT ... didn't the biden/harris administration just do the same thing she is complaining about what trump tariffs will do.  Basically just priced BEVs, batteries, and solar systems out of the consumer's grasp, as if they could afford them anyway.

 

By new tariffs on better & affordable EV & components for both USA EVs & solar systems from China.  Which are already silly priced.   Keeping utility cost high for all industries & transportation, basically increasing the consumer prices across the board.

 

Remaining dependent on the already conglomerate monopolies that have windfall profits at the expense of consumers.  Dependence on a failed, overpriced auto industry, utility companies & big oil's monopoly on transportation options.

 

 

Using myself as an example, here in TH, we have a Chinese BEV and solar system at a reasonable price saves me 1000's of TBH / 100's of USD every month.  Shame the Yanks don't have the same luxury of choice.   So much for freedom or a 'free market'.
