China tells airlines to suspend Boeing jet deliveries
I agree with most of that you say, but I also think none of that matters right now. China is the one thing that Trump won't fold on. At least not until he has to, and I think the US Fed has enough firepower to hold on until China folds. People who think that China is "adapting and moving on" are part of the same crowd that has been brainwashed by the mainstream propaganda machine operating around the world. China is in worse shape than you seem to think. Their economy is highly dependent on the US consumer and on consumers around the world. But the key is the US consumer. China cannot "move on" without the United States and its consumers. As for consumers in the rest of the world? They, too, don't live in a vacuum. Most of their economies are on life support and in much worse shape than the USA. Germany is headed for bankruptcy. The UK is broke. France is a mess. Japan is in trouble as well. In other words, the EU is already dead in the water. And never forget, the entire world runs on US dollars, a currency which cannot be replaced anytime soon. So, the sky is not falling. China has a weak hand. You really don't want to find out what happens if Trump folds because of a bond market collapse. -

Swede's Split-Second Distraction Triggers Buriram Accident
Do I get what? You have lots of experience in dropping things whilst driving and not picking them up right? The points, you so eloquently call ridiculous, are general responses to what driving authorities have down as distractions. They're not my ideals but what people preach but never practise, including myself. You have misunderstood the entire post. Looking left or right at passing distractions, pretty ladies, sights, viewpoints etc...tbst was my example, not looking in your mirrors or turning. Clueless. Changing the radio station requires you to take your eyes off the road numbnuts. 2 seconds is not going to be dangerous no? How long does it take to reach down and pick something up? Both depends on who does it. Talking to someone whilst not looking another 2 seconds? Again, depends on the person. How many times have you seen passengers telling the driver to watch the road? It happens far too often but once again you've completely misinterpreted it for your own benefit. So taking your eye off the road for 2 seconds is safe then? I get it now. You're my hero.... If you had any concept of what my post was talking about it would have saved you time. All distractions are potentially dangerous but some are unavoidable or simply caused by human reactions. These clowns who say you should do this and not do that are the, "I told you sooo," brigade. The most annoying, sad, desperate group of outcasts around. Just to make it clear enough. In hindsight, stopping would have been the correct path to take but I'm guessing he reacted as normal humans do. -

So many Kanchanaburi resorts "sold out" for late January 26 - normal?
Theres 20 times more places to stay than your map shows. Also, if you're looking at the booking sites and they say "sold out" call the resort directly. They sell blocks of rooms to those sites but ALWAYS hold rooms for direct bookings. I'm a big fan of booking directly and most will price match the booking sites if they're not already cheaper. -
