That's if you drink it slowly. Who knows what happens to the body, when you drink that amount in 10 seconds?

Obviously, he should not have drunk so much. But I think the people who hired him to do that should be held responsible.

Agree, B30,000 is a lot to someone who has very little. I think the least they could do (those who hired him) is make sure his grandmother is looked after for the remaining years of her life!

Indeed, I used to drink two large bottles of whisky every day, as well as 5 or so Beer Chang. I had built up a tolerance though over 20 years.

Thai tv news report this morning was clear in pointing out this guy was mentally challenged / intellectually disabled.

 

Goes some way towards explaining the peak of his career was selling flower garlands and traffic lights and more recently singing and dancing with the flowers to get more sales.

 

Orphaned / abandoned seems he'd do any stunt to support and house the grandmother who raised him.

 

Also apart from alcohol already consumed it reported he was also force-fed 'lubricant' but didn't specify exactly what that was ... and ended with a 350ml flask of Thai whisky.

 

No doubt the person/people behind this will have been getting their lies straight. Nothing will result from his death, a wai or two and and a donation towards the funeral. 

 

He was in no form an influencer, rather he was some notoriety from other people's videos of him on tiktok etc.

The two really salient points about this. Number one social media continues to be the most corrosive, the most toxic, and the most degenerative force on the planet today.

 

The second consideration is that alcohol does kill, and if you do drink yourself out of your mind you always run the risk of liver failure, every time you drink excessively you run the risk of liver failure, there are so many things that can go wrong when it comes to excessive consumption of alcohol. It really comes down to an instinct for survival and doing these ridiculous social media stunts are wiping a lot of people out of the world's population. Granted they are the less intelligent people of the world, but nonetheless they are dying. 

 

Alcohol is far more dangerous thing than drugs.

it's a far more dangerous thing than drugs. 

 

I think the problem with illegal drugs is that people can't be sure what they get, like how much pure x is in whatever you buy? And what else is in there.

I had my good share of whisky over the years. >90% no problem. I just make sure I don't drink bad alcohol, and I rely on my body to tell me when I had enough. And then I stop drinking. At least for me, that works. 

I would have accepted the challenge, if what they offered to drink was really good stuff and that they paid for it. But when I felt I had enough i would throw in the towel. I am 72, but at 21 you might think you are invincible. RIP young man.

Constantly on the Thai news about him and his mates performing daft stunts, they've turned him into some sort of hero, media circus, got his grandmother in on the nonsense as well. Judging by the amount of money that's being donated seems she's better off without him.

A bit off topic but it's a pity they didn't pay him to see how many kilos of  weed he could smoke in an hour. At worse he would have woken up from some vivid dreams with a craving for some chocolate chip cookies. 

 

Poor kid. Feel for his grandmother who has now lost her only family and carer.

Some Thai media are reporting that they have arrested the person that paid him to do it.

Various crimes involving abusing a disabled man who was not capable of giving consent to the situations he was placed in.  I pass my sentence thusly:

 

Main Perpetrator - 25 years for Second Degree Murder.

 

Bystanders - 5 years each for Accessory to Murder.
