Uh-oh     another crazy.   Good to see the cops upped their game from last week having blown it dealing with the Belarusian madman in his underpants.   Visa-free entry process work

What visas are these guys on now? Do they still get the special longer tourist visas than lots of others? I noticed in a DTV podcast the other day they are not in the top 5 nationalities receiving it.

And one less Russian to worry about.

Its time the police upped the anti, tasers & trained dogs usually work.

Don't the people who are referred to as the Thai police force have tassers or must they buy them themselves to use on these fools

Should have just shot the Cossack W️ dead. End of story.

The Thai police are to be commended for only using lethal force as a last resort. American police are often insanely trigger happy, with the lethal force often directed at racial minorities and those with mental disabilities. Those with a "shoot first, ask questions later" law and order mentality might want to consider the possibility that lethal force could one day be used against you or a loved one.

You don't want the bullet, don't attack with a knife. Police like to go home at night after a shift.

"WOW"-Imagine that, when you open Thailand to all the Russians for several years with open arms-What could really "GO WRONG??" Got to say, Phuket is not on my list anymore to travel too thanks to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

Reminds me of the time a drunken Irishman came at me with a razor. Thank God it wasn't switched on.

You're assuming that people have control over their mental faculties at all times which they don't. There are lots of ways to subdue a knife wielding suspect other than with a firearm.

You've got a guy holding a knife in a threatening manner coming at you from 15 feet away and you believe deadly force isn't justified?

not sure about tasers,  but I'm sure they carry a gun that needs some use.

in our condo we have many Russian tenants. who because of their numbers  physical appreance  and beligerent attitude intimidate the manager, owners and committee members when confronted for breaking the rules.

I rented a few years in a condo in Jomtien where there were many Russians.

Only one word for them , uncouth.

Seems they’d bought up quite a lot of the studios , and did what they liked , cooked smelly food with the doors open, smoked inside so the alarm was constantly going off, at the pool loud Russian  music, kids going haywire, bottles on the pool sides. Many times security was called, but what can they do ? The poor guys who are one step from being homeless can’t speak a word of any language!!  Lots are also working, just have to walk around with your eyes open to see ! Russians and Chinese are the worst possible thing that could have happened to Thailand.
Obviously I moved out to a small condo where they are not welcome at all.

China and Russia will ruin los if not careful.

As far this guy he'll probably end up in "The Hilton".

The LOS is losing its appeal to the Western areas..

One bullet would've fixed that standoff pretty quick!

Could use as scarecrow for Phuket Airport..

If it was here in the US.he probably wouldn't have seen tomorrow.

What happened to the good old taser and bear spray? A dose of that will subdue pretty much anyone.

That's  the new now  , Russian  , Cinese  , Indians  , Middle Eastern  , they are a lot , 3 billion  ++ , get use to it .

what are Cinese  ?    I've never heard of them.

Truly lucky SO*; taken alive after serial attack.

If he did the same in USA, likely to end up in a Body Bag.

Multiple stabs and no hands up at gunpoint, more than enough reasons to get shot on the spot.

"FREEDOM"!!!

Chinese, Russians, Indians, Arabs are all Asians. Thailand is probably the only non-Asian country in Asia. Thanks to the Americans who brought civilization here. Therefore, Thailand needs to be protected from other Asians.
