I've yet to watch anything, the past couple decades worth paying for.  Not even thrilled about watching some, after downloaded for free.

 

All nothing but time killers for me at night, as not a big fan of outdoor activities in TH; heat, mozzies, smog & idiot drivers.   Nothing away from the back veranda, that I'm missing, by going away from the house.

 

Especially since I pretty much avoid alcohol and places that serve.   Even though I was only a weekend, or better, a monthly warrior in that aspect.

Just finished watching Fleabag (TV Series 2016–2019) - IMDb 8.7/10 series 2 and what an incredibly funny 'dark' comedy.

Haven't watched anything as funny in years!

It's still on the Beeb and on many of the usual places.

Come on you must have liked Chernobyl? one of the best mini series. Also Black Mirror 7 seasons so far, different to most other guff

That does explain all your negative comments on everything that comes out, though.

 

This is the new golden age of TV. All the pay services have one or two gems each. Don't expect it to last long though, as there will inevitably be takeovers and the pool of services will shrunk.

I only posted poor review of things that were pretty poor, and wouldn't want someone to waste their time.   And usually after someone else also posted a negative review.   I leave things up to others to decide, unless simply agreeing with someone else.

 

I watch anywhere from 10-20 movies or series a week, when available.  So far from being negative from everything that comes out.

 

Some are a bit more enjoyable than just time killers.  Many are just or barely time killers.  But as stated, none I would ever pay for.

 

Someone mentioned 'Black Mirror'  so downloaded 1, 3, 6 & 7, based on reviews.  1 getting trashed, which I realized had actually seen, and was just OK.  Reviews stated skip 1 & 2, start with 3.  Along with 6 & 7 getting great reviews.   I didn't make it past the first eps of all 3 seasons.  But you wouldn't know as I didn't bother posting.   I don't think.

Some people don't get it, maybe Black Mirror isn't for you, personally i like something different to the usual Hollywood guff

The recent season was amazing, the previous seasons were awful.

Budgets are obviously getting bigger, but the earlier seasons are very popular hence why it has such a huge following, rated 8.7 on IMDb

Yes, that aspect was a bit far fetched.

Watching The Pitt now. As I get older, medical dramas become more interesting.

Only watched the first episode yesterday, but this looks like a Guy Richie masterpiece!

In E4, she is asking the nurse outside the dead cop's ward 'Did you see anyone, with the two police women standing close by. 

Was it the one with the phone? No the one with the scarf. One is white the other is black.

A bit like identifying black and white boxers by the colour of their shorts!

This current season is pretty good.  Previous seasons were so-so.

Tom Hardy keeps cranking out TV and movie, but I've been waiting for Taboo Season 2 forever. I wonder if it's ever going to happen.
