Trawling through the movies on BBC iPlayer I came across one which took my fancy, called, "Ice Cold in Alex" starring John Mills, Anthony Quayle, Harry Andrews and Sylvia Sims, amongst others, and the reason it took my fancy was because: –

1). My father fought with Montgomery in the eighth Army against Rommel and his forces in North Africa (Libya).
2). I worked in Libya in 1970 and explored some of the northern part.
3). I also worked in Libya in 1975/76 and experienced a lot of "adventures" in the Sahara desert and also came across what we believed to be the remnants of a battle fought by the British "long-range desert force".

 

So I was keen to see what the movie was like and although it was in black and white, it brought back many memories and I enjoyed it.

The yify ones showed up first in scene rls so yts dot mx would be a good source.

Thanks for the info @gargamon. I use the Jackett search plugin for qBittorrent and do have an indexer configured for YTS. Only two instances of Predator Badlands were found but had no seeders or leechers. So, as you have indicated already they are dropping now.

Last night I finished season 1 of Death by Lightning and enjoyed it. I usually enjoy watching anything with either Matthew Macfadyen or Michael Shannon in the cast. It was recommended by @Andrew Dwyer earlier in this topic. It was on LimeTorrents and possibly other sites.

Hello Tomorrow is an 8 part series with an unusual mix of 50’s Midwest USA and sci fi ( 50’s style cars which hover !! ) but it is all done exceptionally well.

The story revolves around a bunch of timeshare salesmen selling real estate on the moon !!

 

A dark comedy sci fi drama with some great characters:

Hank Azaria plays Eddie, one of the timeshare salesmen with a severe gambling habit determined to win enough to take his girl to the moon.

Billy Crudup plays Jack, head of the timeshare operation with more than a few skeletons in his closet !!

Sicario:Day of the Soldado is equally excellent. Mainly focused around Del Toro's character.

Its a limited TV series not a movie. Fans of Nick Cave will go for it.

Thanks @Keeps however I didn't think it was as good, and the ending left a bit to be desired IMO. All the same, both action packed and passed an evening in front of the box!!

Eventually got round to watching the movie "Bugonia" and what a strange movie it was, "Two conspiracy-obsessed men kidnap the CEO of a major company when they become convinced that she's an alien who wants to destroy Earth.

 

Weird in some ways and crazy in others although Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons were great.....worth watching if you are into somewthing different.

Starting on The American Revolution documentary series by national treasure Ken Burns.

 

 

Wake Up Dead Man, a Knives Out Mystery. 7.6 IMDB score. Really enjoyed this with all star cast.
