What is the "assignment" exactly? 

We had very bad experience with private investigator back in 2014: an old Aussie fart was copying and selling designs that didn't belong to him. After phone conversation he disappeared from BKK, police was useless so we private eye might help. 

At 5K/day ++ we only got province, city and local market he visited few times. 

No address, no photos, no contacts. Turn out he (investigator) didn't even speak thai. just tinglish.

Ha. I actually hired a private investigator in Pattaya a couple of years ago. Well, I hired two different investigators. The first team that was sent out were very proficient, but they ended up following around the wrong lady. And I only found this out 3 days later when I received another request for payment, after which I received their report. After that I decided to use a different agency and tried this one instead https://pattayapi.com/ who did a decent job and were in touch with me the whole way through. 

 

Yes, she was cheating on me and I saw her drive her little scoopy bike to the customer's hotel after changing into high heels and a black dress. Fully understand people saying it's a waste of money, but when the only piece of information you're getting is "I GO SALON WITH MY FRIEND NOW OK. YOU NOT BELIEVE UP TO YOU OK", it was pretty satisfying to catch her red handed to be honest. Sometimes you need that to make a big decision.

That satisfaction is probably the only reason to spend money on PI to chase a Pattaya lady, so just spend what you think that feeling is worth, not more. Doing the chase yourself and busting her red handed might be even more fun. 

 

If you have suspicions and care about those, you don't need that to make that big decision 

 

If you are interested to know how she is doing with the guys, post her pic on pattaya punter forum and ask comments there. Has worked in many cases and you get more details than a PI can ever get (unless he becomes a customer)

You guys are funny 🤪 I met her at Soi 6. She did quit work right after she met me which costed me a lot of money. I’m back in the US now. I’m sending her a bunch of money every month.  She will disappear once a while for 1-2 days with various nonsense excuses like she dropped her phone or she had a very sick relative that she needed to visit in her village and there was no cell reception. I’m very certain that she has other ‘boyfriends’. I just need the proof for my peace of mind.

Or let me say it differently. If someone hires a person in Thailand to do something which requires Thai language, do you think it would be smart to hire someone who is not fluent in Thai?

So, it seems the idea was to hire someone who speaks Thai but then later they found out the hired the wrong person.

And in case you didn't know, many girls have at least two FB pages. One for their farang lover in English and another one for her Thai friends in Thai, often full of information and pictures which her farang lover is not supposed to see.

And if you have their phone number on your mobile, or they have your phone number on their mobile, Facebook will (eventually) suggest you add their other accounts as 'friends'.

I've always found Facebook trawling and comparing/matching phone numbers to be interesting.

LINE also appears to do this.
