  • Awesome! They have attracted exactly the people they want to have. Littering freeloaders and heavy drinkers pissing in the ocean.    Good Job Mr. Ngampichet! You have just shown the country,

yeah that's right if it weren't for those pesky Americans attracting the girls to Pattaya the Indians wouldn't have any reason to come and piss in the ocean and throw trash on the beach.

When I see and read this, I don't need prejudices. Then I judge the right way, like most here!

Yes but generally we are better behaved- have you been to india - i had the misfortune to travel there on business- absolute sh***le with people openly defecating in public - try it for yourself before pulling out the tired old race card

That’s what happens when you gift these people with free visa’s  if you have ever been to India this is an everyday occurrence. !

Speaking from experience?

😂😂

Great publicity for pattaya.. deplorable filth and more filth.

Indian/ Pakistani: 4  tourists rent one room for shower and sex fun and sleep in shifts or on the beach.

FAmily type destination ,,, not

Yes, this will bring more quality visitors ... not !!!!

But Many  here never try to understand different races nor cultures, colonial mentality. We all inherited genes that affects our views and behaviors, the education systems have failed in some countries.

but gross is gross... liking pissing in public when their are bathrooms nearby... that's filthy, smelly and unhygienic... it shows no respect for other human inhabitants... would you tolerate that on your grounds, at your house or in the hallway outside your condo?

TAT does it again Quality Tourists

I was under the impression that you had to have a Thai accommodation address when entering the country.

A simple check would determine wether the rough sleepers are vagrants or not..

We all know that Indian tourists have taken over Pattaya but the Thai Pattaya government needs to address the rubbish on the beach. They leave such a mess it makes the place look like a dump and it should be cleaned up DAILY !
Any drunken people sleeping or partying on the beach of what ever nationality should be removed ! It’s not a good look you know !

The mayor also said he can not move resources to keep the beach clear , because he is still concentrating on the " crack down " on  foreign free lance ladies in beach road.*

Ok, he didn't say that...but It sounds like the basic rhetoric .  Remember folks ,Pattaya is a family friendly destination after all. SMH.

Next there will be bon-fires on the beach burning the trash.  With the tourists cooking there supper over them.

That is really nonsense 😊 No reason to be on the beach after midnight?  You do understand that not everyone chooses to broil themselves under the sun. That a beach can be a peaceful place to relax. So the people who work until midnight and want to go to the beach to relax should be barred until 5am? Why 5am? Why not wait until the tourists wake up and have their breakfast at 9am?

There's always someone wanting to impose their rules on nature.

You might want to get on the horn to the mayor of Newport Beach and go to bat for its residents.  That city's beach closes from 10 pm until 6 am, depriving not just the midnight workers but those getting off work at 10 pm.  Read him the riot act for imposing 'rules on nature'.   Then, you might move on to Huntington City, and its beach--open from 5 am to 10 pm.  Myrtle Beach?  6 am to 10 pm.  Ocean City?  5 am to Midnight.  Etc., etc.   As I said in my previous post, it's not unusual for beaches to have closing hours.

loud, smelly, dirty and aggresive behaviour....minimum spending ....but total tourists numbers are going up...

Best answer yet. Sharp wit! yeah, stating the obvious, if the time comes when the beach and water are clean and attractive, then there would be a reason to deal with this campground for cheap Charlies.

I go during the week of Christmas, when most people are celebrating elsewhere. There are not too many people, especially at night, and the beach is enjoyable. I stay at a beautiful resort called The Castello. It has a restaurant and a beautiful outdoor garden, and good coffee. I enjoy the live music at Klom Klom bar where I also perform. There is a nice mixture of Thai and farang, no Indians, no Russians, I think the music (rock and roll) keeps them away like mosquito repellant. There are several other good nightime live music venues, also not crowded that time of year. I have done this for 10 years and am never disappointed.

Of course I don’t condone such behavior and I totally agree with you that it’s gross and unacceptable etc.

But I believe one has to understand that if you’re inviting tourists, you will get a cross section of races, cultures etc and there fore the authorities have to understand that some will not comply with local decency. It therefore requires, education , monitoring and enforcing laws that require people to act responsibly. In extreme cases people have had their visas revoked, but it should apply across the board.

Many years ago, I was at a friends condo. They had a big pool with people swimming. An Indian lady with a toddler walked past the toilets and had the boy pee into the pool. I doubt it was spite, but in what country, in what world would this be acceptable behaviour? Sure, I come from a different culture but it is beyond my ability to comprehend how this is acceptable in any culture..

I doubt there is any law on the books, no more so than you would not pee in someone's living room. So, there is likely no penalty set up in the system for this. I would think that all cultures have a knowledge and respect for the most basic cleanliness and respect for others. Right?

And you do understand how this might reflect on the entire culture. Right?
