Many thx...go in person or send an agent?

I would personally never use an agent, but it's an option if time/CW avoidance is an issue.

The "system" is someone at the local office logging in and approving or rejecting the submission you made.

  • If they didn't reset your due 90 day report when obtaining your extension stamp, then just proceed with the given date.

  • The online system pumps out a reminder 2 weeks before the 90 days are up from your last report.  Leaving the country doesn't get fed back to it so just ignore the email.

I have never used an agent but for health and aggravation reasons in this instance I may do so. Not decided.

But my question is if I send an agent is that ok/I do nor have to go actually in person?

If i do decide to go on person what documents /copies do i need?

I really appreciate your input.

You don't need to go with the agent.  TM47, TM30 and passport should be enough.  I've seen several recommendations for using the Bumrungrad hospital 90 day reporting service (https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/patient-services/business-center), it seems cheap (650 baht) and available to all, not only patients.  You would of course have to go there to submit and collect your documents.  I am sure other agents will pick up and return documents from/to your home.

I am completely exasperated, upset and angry.

Spend all afternoon waiting to do my 90 day report. Had all necessary forms and passport.

After well over 2 hours waiting and 117 ahead of me I eventually reached the counter only to be told I needed do a TM 30 with all accompanying documents before I could have my TM 47 considered.

I was sent to 2 other immigration officers who confirmed that was so.

"No need to do another TM30"-

-words spoken here.

And I stupidly believed what I was told.

I assumed that because my Landlord had submitted  on line there was no need to do a TM 30.

No said immigration.

Because i had been living previously in Chonburi  then according to the immigration officer(s) TM 30 cannot be done on line.

And of course despite not being young any more they  have no mercy.

Any way I have posted separately on here asking if anyone can recommend an experienced immigration agent to help me.

You assumed right.  With a valid TM30 you have no need to do another one, it's not even your responsibility.  However, as we know, they can decide on a whim to reject anybody and it seems you have fallen foul of that.  Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, have to say it is not normal.

For future reference, postal mail is also possible on the first day, although it isn't nearly as easy as online (but online isn't possible for the first submission).

Sorry that this happened to you. More to understand how to avoid that myself, I'm curious if you had a copy of the (landlord's) TM30 that you could show them - presumably that would have met their needs?

I provided a copy of the form the Landlord received from Immigration which was done when I moved into my BKK apartment.

The rule seems to be that a TM 30 can of course be done on Line but because I had previously lived in Chonburi the on line TM 30 is apparently not acceptable to immigration.

If a person has moved to a new province (I moved from Chonburi to BKK) then- if I understand what immigration is saying-  one need to complete the "full monty" TM30 signed by the owner with supporting documentation etc and given  in person to immigration.

I showed the immigration the TM 30 copy given to me by my landlord but for the reasons stated above it was not accepted.

Once TM 30 is approved etc then and only then can I apply for TM 47 (90 days).

Which is why I assume my on line 90 day application was refused.

I am just reporting what happened to me today. I don't think it was just a whim/bad day,. but who knows.

I have just tried  submitting a 90 day report for the first time online.

When I clicked to submit it the system replied

" Http failure response for : 0 "

and then gave me a .pdf to download.  When I tried to do that I received

" The server replies that you don't have permissions to download this file.  HTTP/1.1  403  Forbidden. "

But logging off and on again and checking the progress button my application is there.  I tried this on Firefox and then Vivaldi with same result and then cancelled the duplicate application.

Has anybody else seen these errors or can give a hint as to what they mean?

My application was rejected for having Insufficient information.  The only information missing that I can think of is my middle name, and I don't have one.

Its not that, as mine gets accepted with no middle name.   I don't think info is missing, probably wrong, as it won't let you proceed with missing info.

If you are sure all the info is correct, and on the last step, you are checking off, 'use sign in info', then maybe that info is missing and not linked to check before sent.

Check sign in info, if possible, or simply fill out the info where asked, instead of using 'use sign in info' option.

Can anyone confirm this?

There seem to be two rules:

Freshly moved, new TM 30 done, first 90 day report in person.

Came back from abroad, first 90 day report in person.

If the 2nd rule is true, I could only do it online maybe once per year. But it seems true, as my last successful online 90 day report was in April 2024.

Some more thoughts:

Last time I renewed my marriage visa I thought I also needed to do the 90 day report, so I took both tickets at 10:45 about mid April in Chaeng Watthana Bangkok. I was served for the visa extension at 17:15. I then realised, they did the 90 day report automatically. When I left at 18:00 my 90 day report ticket was still more than 100 tickets away.

I just tested the 90 day report again now and rejected. But I already booked a short trip to Malaysia to avoid this madness.

** Important Day **

This is the first day where the people using the new electronic TDAC system will need to do a 90 days report.

We are all very interested to know if they have to make the first report in person at the immigration office after returning from abroad. It is a reasonable inference to imagine that the new electronic system is connected to the immigration office so they will not require us to turn up in person. But I am not holding my breath.

Please anyone who has used the TDAC, let us know what happens.

Yesterday, a friend complained his 90-day online application was rejected for incorrect information, and he couldn't understand it as his previous report was approved.

A quick glance at his submitted TM47 and I immediately noticed a typo error in his name.

He contacted me later after arriving home and going through his passport found three more errors on his submitted form.

1. An additional digit in his passport number.

2. His last entry date was in June 2022, he'd entered July 2022.

3. Put the wrong village number.

He resubmitted later last night.

That also happened to me a while back. So I then completed all non-mandatory fields and resubmitted, whereupon my application was approved. And I don't have a middle name either!

I did my 90 day report this morning in person.  In and out in 5 minutes (Khon Kaen).  At the desk where they check your documents I asked why my online application was rejected.  The officer pulled out a thick folder of online applications, found mine and couldn't tell me why it had failed.  She said the system is still unstable, try again next time.

The "system" is someone at the local office logging in and approving or rejecting the submission you made.

I tried 90 day online Friday, July 11 and wasn't expecting a response until Monday.

I supplied all the data that I included on the last 3 successful applications.

On Sunday got a rejection saying I was missing my visa expiration data and my phone number.  Once a couple of years ago I had entered my extension expiration date, but never my visa expiration (5 years ago now).

Imm. seems erratic on what is required.  Neither of those fields have the red asterisk signifying that they're required.

Just a heads up.  I use CM office for my extensions and in-person 90 day reports.

Well, it has been getting rather jam-packed in the office there in recent times. Hope they can get a system going in place similar to the one at the temporary 90-day reporting off-site office they had at Muang Thong Thani. (During the earlier covid time frame, it moved out there in the interest of 'distancing'.)  They pretty much moved 'em in, moved 'em out at a good clip there, even without an appointment.

  • 2 weeks later...

This message is popping up when you go to do the 90 day online. Do they really mean that they'll be offline only from 9pm to 10pm on 29 July???? Why would they redirect you to going in person or using mail for 1 hour offline? Or does this mean they are doing maintenance UNTIL 29 July?

Dear All,

Please be informed that the online Notification of Staying in the Kingdom over 90 Days (TM47) will undergo maintenance and will be on July 29, 2025, 21:00 PM (GMT+7) to 22:00 PM (GMT+7).

During this period, you can report your residence by:
1. Self-declaration at the local Immigration Bureau office during business hours.
2. Reporting by registered mail at the Post Office.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Maybe it's just advice in case there is a problem with the update, which results in a longer outage?

I did notice a change to the login procedure, Cloudflare human checkbox bypassed automatically, no more captcha.

My most recent (today) on-line 90-day report was approved in ~ 16 hours (CW.)

Saw that, too. Glad the captcha in gone. Sometimes, the captcha was impossible to determine.

Opens immediately for me.

The most likely cause is a glitch on your internet.

Wait and try again later.
