Thai immigration online 90 day reporting system (2025)

Rejected, no reason given.

Did you lie and not use the last date of entry to Thailand...?

Or did you provide the new last date of entry?

I imagine only those who lied have successfully gained a 90 day notification extension.

The "system" is someone at the local office logging in and approving or rejecting the submission you made.

  • If they didn't reset your due 90 day report when obtaining your extension stamp, then just proceed with the given date.

  • The online system pumps out a reminder 2 weeks before the 90 days are up from your last report.  Leaving the country doesn't get fed back to it so just ignore the email.

With my recent retirement extension, no new 90-day slip was put in my passport

My IO will only do a new 90 days if it is within the acceptable dates, 14 before and 7 after I think.

In the Pattaya forum @Jingthing reported that after getting a new passport he was told he could no longer do online reporting until he left the country and came back. After that it was time for me to do the same, so I made sure when I did the 90-day report with my new passport that I asked whether I needed to leave the country and come back to be able to report online, and two different immigration officers were adamant that I would indeed need to leave the country.

I'm not happy about this.

I entered with a new UK passport in May with a re-entry visa in my old, washed out passport. Obviously I was allowed back in as the re-entry was flagged up on their computer.  Went to Immigration in August to report 90 days, and they transferred my stamps at the same time.

This is how it normally works. With a new passport they won't do the 90-day report until the extension stamp has been transferred from the old passport into the new one. You had the 'double whammy' compelling an in-person 90-day report. First report with a new passport, and first report after a trip abroad.

I did not lie, I provided the latest entry date from August this year, not the previous one from 2023. Wanted to test if there was a link to TDAC so they could verify that the new date was correct.

Guess I was expecting too much☺️

Right.

That is deeply disappointing. I also was hoping the electronic TDAC would be a game changer

The 90 day online is a standalone system with no links to other databases.

Last time I got new passport, I did indeed have to do a border bounce to restart online 90 day reporting. I will be renewing my UK passport around July 2026 so will find out then whether another border bounce is required. Office is Buriram. I'm pretty sure that I have seen reports of other people in other provinces who have NOT had to leave the country & return to continue online 90 day reporting.

I got a new passport a couple of months ago and when I updated it at Immigration they 'kindly' did a 90day report at the same time. Next time I did it online it was successful.

Thanks @Rigsby, that's good to know.

I obtained a new passport and transferred my visa at CW about three weeks ago. I attempted to complete an online 90-Day yesterday, however it was rejected. Apparently, I need to attend in person given the change in passport.

For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required.

In order to avoid the 90-Day queues, which I noticed were significant, I am considering a visit to CW in the late afternoon. If I were to arrive at 3pm, would I be able to obtain a ticket to be seen?

I am almost certain that the last ticket is at 3:30pm.

I can't tell from your post if you are aware or not that you can make an appointment online to do the 90-day report. If you want to avoid the long queues, consider making an appointment.

You can check into it and the available time slots by going to the link below.

This is for the Div. 1 area, Bangkok. Select the one at the top of the list, Government Complex, to start.

He has changed his passport so that'll require an in-person visit.

Yes, and you can make an appointment, via the online appointment system, to schedule a time for your in-person visit to do a 90-day report, whether it's 'required in-person' or not.

Pathum Thani immigration.

I always do my 90s report online for the past 4 years never been rejected.

I submitted  my next 90 online as I normally do,I  had a email  that the application have been rejected this was this morning (Sunday).

Could the reason be that my non O marriage vise expires on 20th Nov and my application is under the 30 day review period and my 90 day's is due to expire on 30th of Nov.

As I wrote this never happened before.

Much appreciated any feedback of any guys which deals with Pathum Thani immigration.

Isn't the new rule that the online notification must be made between 14 and 7 days before the due date?

These rules change so often that I don't know anymore what's what.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

I've found it now here:

https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=1648

«Note ** Aliens can report their residence before 15 days or after 7 days from the due date. If the appointment date is exceeded or the notification date is exceeded, the alien must report in person to proceed with the comparison and fine.»

Today, Sunday 16th, is the first day of the window for Nov 30th.
It appears you applied outside the window.

Thanks for you reply. 👍

The day I get the email reminder I have always logged on and did the application then.

I will try again.

So you already applied for your annual extension and are currently in the under consideration period?  It is just possible that when you did the extension they also reset your 90 day reporting, and either didn't tell you or you missed it somehow.  Whilst you would think that you would not then get a reminder but there is no guarantee that their system works perfectly.

I find the easiest way to calculate the first day of the window you can apply, is if for example your report date fell on a Thursday, then Thursday 2 weeks beforehand is the first day to apply.

If it's one of the IO's that resets your 90 day report at extension renewal time, they tend to do it when you return for the extension stamp.

Always impressed with all the foreigners accepting to go through all these hassles and red tape harassment from Thai immigration just to stay on continuously....Good for them I guess. No offense.

Yes, it's such a hassle spending 2 minutes every 90 days doing the online report, and then, the horror, a couple of hours once a year renewing the visa. It's insufferable!

Looking back now I got the email reminder on Friday 14th and my 90 is due to renew on 30th Nov that's outside the window time to apply.

I always applied when I receive the email reminder.

I have applied this morning again and let's see the outcome.

I received the reminder on 6th Nov and applied same day, received confirmation same day. Received approval on 10th Nov.

System seems to be working well.

The online registration for the TM47 works for me and my wife sometimes, and sometimes not (Chiang Mai).

Once it was approved, the next time it was rejected. They wrote:

Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.

Others (Please specify)Contact immigration to update the (TM30) accommodation notification to the current place. The last register of accommodation at..." (an older adress).

So possibly they work with different data bases, as my TM30 is correct and hasn't changed.

In that case I drive to the airport immigration (drive thru 90 days) and get the next 90 days without any problems.

As I asked (with a big smile) the officer why the online registration sometimes works and sometimes not. He gave me a warm smile back and said only "sometimes...".

So I will just go on with this procedure. TIT - no worries.

It appears the address, you put on the TM47, does not match the one notified on a TM30.

I guess I wasn't clear enough. Both adresses on TM30 and TM47 are the same.

As already noted, it can work out fine doing it online - or not.
