Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system is online (but not announced as starting yet)

Featured Replies

It would appear that the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (the system that replaces the old TM6 paper arrival/departure cards) has an operational website..

It would also appear in the user manual that this is for EVERY traveler who enters thailand by air or land

Here's the link;
TDAC Thailand Digital Arrival Card

They have good video about how it works and the user guide is also easy to understand.

Other than the earlier announcement saying it would start May 1 there has been no update

Just wanted people to know it appears to be 'up and running' 🙂

So those living here in Thailand with extensions of permission of stay and reentry permit still need all this nonsense.

On top of TM30, TM47 etc

Confusing as always... Fill out arrival card, then download. And then what?? Will they have all those data in their Immigration computers?

it's ridiculous and nonsense to me

It looks like fill out information about departure isn't mandatory, it can be skipped. But I don't understand the meaning of the health declaration, it says you have to be covid vaccinated and where you have been in the last 2 weeks before travel

Video guide on how to update the card doesn't work for me.

Am I surprised? Nope

it says that the filled online card will be sent on your email, then you can print it out and show it to the immigration when you arrive to thailand

WHO SUBMIT?
All foreigners entering Thailand are required to submit the Thailand Digital Arrival Card before their arrival, except for:
   - Foreigners transiting or transferring in Thailand without going through immigration control.
   - Foreigners entering Thailand using a Border Pass.

Could their wording term 'Border Pass' be a reference to a re-entry permit.

And/or a new non-immigrant visa?

From which the non-Scotland part of the UK appears to have been excluded!

A Border Pass is  used for those from neighbouring countries like Laos, Cambodia who can enter Thailand for a period without a passport.  I expect that's what is referrred to here.

Is being covid vaccinated mandatory for entry? I thought it wasn't?

It is a work in progress and the part that is already accessible seems shoddily designed.

The shoddiest part is the fact that the website is already publicly accessible while it is still being designed.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

It is still a work in progress. Give the poor web designer some time to get a grip on it.

He is trying to reinvent the wheel instead of using a country list already available on one of immigration's datebases. Perhaps just as well, because there are probably several non-identical lists on the databases and any or all might get deleted by someone without advance notice.

I must say that he is quite knowledgeable about country names, because all drop-down lists I have seen so far use "Switzerland" for my country but he uses the formal name "The Swiss Confederation". Regarding your mention of Scotland, perhaps he is grappling with "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland". What three-letter country was listed next to Scotland?

None.  Different list.

Not here in China.  Clicking the link results in a time-out message.

Nope a border pass is just that, the pass neighboring country passport holders get at the land border to come into thailand for the day
those people are exempt

The way it reads is ANY foreigner coming in free stamp (visa exempt) Visa On Arrival, with a valid tourist visa, with a valid Non-imm visa, OR with an extension and a re-entry permit has to fill out the form

Cambodians and Laos can be issued a border pass in leu of a passport

So what if no email, no PC or printer?    TM6 just needed a Biro!

Just say YES to the question.

Nope.  Here's what I get:

I can't tell where it's being blocked.  Could be by the originator, or it could be by the Great Firewall.

What happens if you turn up not having done it, refused entry? Why does it have to be 72 hours before.

Maybe you need to be in country to access the site…

…and if it’s required to complete the form 72 hours before going through immigration then you’ll probably have to fill it out after landing, wait until the 72 hours passes then go through immigration.

That would be super convenient for a site that's required to get permission to enter the country...

Are there any other posters accessing it from their home country?  Maybe it is just a pre-rollout condition.

Then how do you fill in the form 72 hours before arriving
