It’s believed that the man acted out of spite following a domestic argument. A compassionate neighbour intervened, rushing the injured pup to an animal hospital in Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima. The incident was highlighted by the Watchdog Thailand Foundation (WDT), who have posted footage on their Facebook page, stating their intention to pursue animal cruelty charges against the owner. Witnesses included animal lovers who captured the distressing scene and reported it to the foundation. Fortunately, the pup is now in safe hands. The neighbour, who was deeply moved by the incident, has adopted the puppy, ensuring its recovery and well-being. Updates on social media show the once-dragged dog happily settling into its new life. WDT, alongside witnesses, plans to lodge a formal complaint with the Pak Chong police station. The owner, having brutally endangered the dog, has relinquished any claim to it, as it’s now part of an animal cruelty investigation. The pup can now look forward to a life filled with care and affection, free from its past trauma. Based on a story by Daily News -- 2025-04-09 1 4 2 6

If it were a foreigner we’d have the forum delusional bigots piping up quoting 4 other events this week of foreigner wrong doing…. With the usual follow up “nice people the Thai’s”… I’m sure the Thai apologists will be silent in this thread as it doesn’t fit their bias narrative. This story along with others simply highlights how evil ‘some’ people can be…. …. Wrongdoing and nastiness exists in all nationalities, fortunately in all nationalities such behavior is extremely rare & this is not an example to be taken as a generalization but an extreme outlier of nastiness from one Thai person. I hope they throw the book at this evil character… 1 1
AngryMan Posted April 10 Posted April 10 This piece of 💩 need a good talkicking to...🤬 Someone should crowd fund an intervention to make it happen!🤔 1
Thingamabob Posted April 10 Posted April 10 He should get jail time and a fine, and a court order forbidding this specimen of Thai manhood to ever go near another animal for the rest of his life. It'll never happen, if course. This is Buddhist Thailand where the official line is all Thai people are kind to animals..... 1 1
Popular Post snoop1130 Posted April 10 Popular Post Posted April 10 Thai Man Fined for Dragging Dog with Motorcycle in Disturbing Abuse Photo via Channel 3 A man from Nakhon Ratchasima has been fined 10,000 baht for a shocking case of animal abuse that surfaced thanks to a witness's social media post. The man, identified only as Pannawit, was seen dragging his dog, originally named Salmon, along the road tied to his motorcycle. The abuse came to light after Charuwan Phuangkham posted the incident on Facebook, prompting widespread outrage. Charuwan witnessed the horrific scene and intervened to save the dog, now renamed Talai, which means "slipping." Talai suffered injuries from being dragged for approximately 600 metres, but is now recovering under Charuwan’s care, having received medical treatment. Pannawit admitted to the violent act, citing an argument with his boyfriend as the trigger for his anger. He expressed a desire to see the dog one last time, and Charuwan graciously permitted it. The non-profit group Watchdog Thailand Foundation quickly acted, filing a complaint against Pannawit. Ultimately, the Sikhio Provincial Court fined him, yet opted not to impose a prison sentence. Meanwhile, Talai continues to heal, benefiting from the warm affection of the new owner and concerned members of the public, reported The Thaiger. -- 2025-04-10 1 2
Popular Post Sir Dude Posted April 10 Popular Post Posted April 10 There's no reason for animal cruelty... scumbags like this should get a prison term. If you are going to have a pet, be responsible, not a scumbag. 3 8 1

TheFishman1 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 This guy should be severely punished to the fullest and then after I think he needs a mental counseling mental health I think it should be able to have them working at a pet shelter for like 500 hours he doesn’t wanna do that I think somebody’s drag behind the car see how he likes that what a bitch TIT 1
Surasak Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I feel sure the dog was pleased about the fine his aggressor received?! However, did the fine pay for the vet fees which I am sure the dog required?! The guy who did this to a dog for whatever reason should be dragged along the road on his bare ass, then left to suffer his injuries. But I guess being a mindless idiot, he wouldn't suffer. 1

That's really not going to happen anyway.
ujayujay Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I repeat myself: drag this guy a bit on a car at 50 km/h through the village👍 1
jcmj Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Should have been jailed or community service at a pet center like many have said. Money, especially a small amount, won’t curb his mental state.
Thingamabob Posted April 11 Posted April 11 A pathetically soft penalty. The scumbag who inflicted such vicious cruelty on a helpless little animal should have received a jail sentence. 1
BexMan Posted April 11 Posted April 11 It’s a good job the neighbour acted to save the dog. Spain comparatively recently ramped up their laws. Minor animal welfare offences in Spain carry a €500 fine, and serious ones like this can be punished with a €200,000 fine.
quake Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Some people are just nasty. Hope he has a fatal motor cycle accident real soon
