Rather than just making a childish ad hominem comment, why don’t you explain anything that is incorrect about the comment of mine that you replied to ………. no; okay, apology accepted, now go and troll someone else.

Most of your claims have been debunked by experts. Since you obviously don’t believe them, you’re unlikely to believe me and I have better things to do with my time than to engage with you. I remember doing it once on the topic of EVs which you didn’t reply to as you were proven conclusively wrong.

No. The fault is Trump's. If so many of us here on aseannow.com could see the threat posed by this dearth, what excuse has he got?

i completely agree with your suggestion.

The only question is ...

HOW to get the rest of the Free World to WAKE up, not meaning (WOKE up).

How do you deal with those leaders in other nations who...JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND the Real World, Commie-China Style as envisioned by XI and others behind the BLASTED BAMBOO CURTAIN?????

One should identify and deal with the GOALS of the leaders of other nations...

But how?

Appeasement never ends well.

Merely the opinion of an antiamerican, which are the majority here

Nope. Totally incorrect. I am an American, and I support America. But I am man enough to admit one America is on the wrong path, which it is on right now.

Doing the whole black and white thing simply shows a level of naivety, or a level of inconceivable devotion to a man who is not only highly ignorant, but very deluded about America's place in the world, in this day and age.

Seems to me that it’s those countries that aren’t doing business with the communists that are “going wrong”. Meanwhile, the Global Majority is coming along nicely.

Maybe open the blinders a little. It's the same concept thinking when a Walmart opens its good for the local community.

It's all about big business squeezing more money out of all of us.

Astoundingly disingenuous disclaimer; from someone that has over thousands of comments shown themselves to be anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-British, anti-western, and antisemitic, but denies it all when challenged; risible

Well, it should be clear that the way not to do it is by imposing tariffs on those nations.

Bully you say. I assume you mean Xi Jinping, or have you chosen to ignore China’s persecution of minorities (something you on the left champion so much) with more than 1 million Uyghurs, and ethnic Kazakhs interned in concentration camps, with the women being forcibly sterilised.

Have you already forgotten about the 2500 killed at Tiananmen  square in 1989 for asking for freedom of expression.

What about China’s nine-dash-line expansionism in the South China Sea, bullying the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia in direct violation of the UN convention on the law of the sea (UNCLOS)

Tibet ?

Confucius Institutes in foreign universities, gathering intel to persecute any democracy protesters.

Stealing intellectual property from countries around the world.

Trapping poor countries into unsustainable debt with their Belt & Road Initiative.

Covid 19

Supplying armaments, and now even soldiers to Russia to use against Ukraine.

Threatening to sabotage the British Steel works furnace site  at Scunthorpe, to make the UK more reliant on Chinese steel.

Deploying 3 warships off Australia’s eastern coast to threaten Australia’s policy on Taiwan

Bully you say  ??

These are all fair points you are making against China. But you offer nothing realistic about how to deal with this. Trump has alienated pretty much the rest of the world with his imposition of tariffs. Not really the way to win allies in a fight.

Keith Bradsher has been called out before for 'fake news'.  And every news source that is reporting the same, seems to cite the NYT for the info source 🙄

The 'Echo Chamber' at work.

Until China reports the same, or supply chain is noticeably affected, then I take this as just more 'FAKE NEWS'

Saying that, I'd love to see China do just that :coffee1:

Trump wants the war to end and I think Putin does as well.

I'd say Putin is desperate to end the war before he has to call up the Moscow Russians, hence the terror attacks. I'm sure he figures that Zelensky can hang on to the last Ukrainian given the endless supplies from Euroland, so trying a bit of the Hamburg/ Dresden/ Tokyo solution. Unfortunately for Putin ( or more appropriately all those about to die ), they didn't end the war.

I care about China because they buy a large part of our exports and my entire way of life depends on them doing so.

China has suspended exports of a wide range of critical minerals and magnets, threatening to choke off supplies of components central to automakers, aerospace manufacturers, semiconductor companies and military contractors around the world.

Shipments of the magnets, essential for assembling everything from cars and drones to robots and missiles, have been halted at many Chinese ports while the Chinese government drafts a new regulatory system. Once in place, the new system could permanently prevent supplies from reaching certain companies, including American military contractors.

It's mainly aimed at US.

China tries to have stronger bonds with the EU to compensate losses with US.

Subsequently China will flood the world (except) with cheaper products including cars.

Big profits for big business is never worth dying for.  That's what most of the latest conflicts are all about.  Starting wars to sell weapons, to have fake oil shortages, to drive up prices.

Nothing but more profits, at the cost of misery & death for those in the crossfire.

War because another county doesn't want to export to you, or because they compete on the world market with cheaper & better products.

Oh yea, lets all go to war to protect their profits :coffee1:

Send the CEO's family and the politician's family to the front line first, and see all wars stop, or ...

... never start 😎

When someone invades your country, that's the only war worth fighting, dying for.  As a Yank, that hasn't happened in over 80+ years.   So can't think of any war or conflict, of late, that the USA was involved in, that was worth dying for.

Or simply wasn't about money :coffee1:

Actually, there really wasn't any need for USA to get involved in the European part of WW2, as Russia, and the resistance of the other countries was finally taking it's toll against the Nazis.

USA involvement did speed it up, just a bit, but really wasn't necessary.  June 6 1944, a bit late to the game.  Not to mention, USA supported Germany in the early days.  Europe WW 2 over May 8, 1945, and less than 1 year later.   Less than 1 week after Russia took Berlin to end it.

Russia had it well under control, and defeated Germany, not the USA, not the British, but 'evil Russia'.  Did help of course that Germany was dumb enough to try to fight 2 fronts ... oops.

Y'all might want to stop watching the propaganda movies.  They are for entertainment, not documentaries.

You are a real goofball. Serious men understand criticism is not the equivalent of dislike or hatred. In an open society we discuss things that need to be improved. And yes, the West has gone downhill. Anyone who denies that is living there and caught up in the bubble.

A vastly over-simplistic summary.

For example, while I agree that Russia was crucial in (eventually) defeating Nazi Germany, you completely ignore the fact that the UK stood alone against Germany from June 1940 until June 1941. If the UK had fallen - or sued for peace - during this period, the outcome of WW2 could have been a lot different.

Should have, would have, could have ... what if Russia stopped advancing, after they secured they borders, and were simply happy with that victory.

Sooner or later, much later, Germany would have lost control of Europe domination.  As no force has ever lasted after dominating a war, unless completely animating their adversary.

Resistance groups would have finally won, or the empire itself, as they all do, self destruct from within.

Now, all are so intertwined in trade, the mythical WW 3 that is pushed, and all fear, will never happen.  But it's great for profits, as we all know ... "more taxes will solve everything"

... and the band played on :coffee1:
