What? The 30 baht health scheme is not her idea. It was already there before she took office. Digital wallet was scrapped, and payments where made to bank accounts.

I wonder if they could explain to us how she is considered to be a changemaker, when change indicates progress and very few of us are seeing anything that even resembles progress here. She's just simply a proxy for the dinosaurs.

I remember reading when Yingluck visited Germany for a conference with Angela Merkel. Upon exiting the meeting, she was asked by a reporter: "So, Madam Prime Minister, what are your plans now"? To which she replied: "Oh, now I'm going shopping"...

As usual, the  critics are quick to pounce and offer their uninformed judgements. It would have helped if  they had read the criteria and what the designation is for.

 

It is for CONTINUING EDUCATION purposes. The 100+ people are  nominated to attend education with international  educational institutions, seminars with experts, and meetings to share  ideas. It takes people who can benefit from outside guidance and  skill upgrades.  The fact is that the woman is PM of a large country, and rather than yell at her that concepts  may be  inappropriate, coaching  and training will be given to offer  alternative options or better ways of doing things.  It is no different than a company that upgrades the skills of  its workers, or my professional continuing education requirements.  The great thing about this format is that  she will be with her peer group, people who have similar  issues and pressures.

Don't forget Kier Starmer adopted "change" as his slogan. Change is not always a good thing.

When the WEF is involved it is definitely not a good thing.
