I entered my Re-entry permit number.

I arrived today, I left the visa question blank as was mentioned earlier as it didn't have an Asterix above it, the IO didn't even bother to look at my phone when i opened the TDAC pdf just stamped me back in until my extension expires in a few months

  • Seeing that you have a re-entry permit, you have a temporary permission to stay in Thailand and therefore Thailand is, for immigration purposes, not your country of residence.   In your case

  • Will Iam Not
    Will Iam Not

What are you on about. Country of Residence is where you live, in my case Thailand. Earlier in the application you already put your Nationality and Passport number.

That is because it is on his screen

I just used the TDAC  time, had QR ready but was never asked. Just  showed the lady my re-entry permit. I put the number on my extension in the visa section. Maybe incorrect to do that

In a way airport staff on arrival were not doing much to guide people

Saw two couples of Chinese sent away from my line , to the Visa on Arrival line,  they were clueless. Other tourist looking people from  were sent to the TDAC kiosks, obviously they had not done it.

Bureaucrats. 5 mins past midnight at immigration counter in Fast Track (LTR) “sorry Sir wrong date”. TIT. Luckily had used the https://agents.co.th/ site so no need to retype everything just change date and get a new ticket which was immediately visible on immigration computer.

I would have though all the Immi officer needs do to is to 'correct the date' in his system...

All the TDAC card is, is a digital version of the TM6 - so surely they can make simple edits at the counter ?... No ?

Wrong date for what?

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Sounds like wrong arrival date on the TDAC.

The only time reference the OP gave is that he presented his passport to the immigration official (IO) five minutes past midnight and that the IO said "wrong date". This raises the following questions in my mind:

1. What flight arrival date did the OP put on the DTAC form?

2. What was the scheduled arrival date of the flight?

3. What was the actual arrival date of the flight?

4. On what date did the OP present his passport to the IO?

ad 1. Scheduled arrival date of the flight is 23:50, in this case Thu 17 July, that's what I entered on the form

ad 2. 17 July

ad 3. 17 July, just before midnight, but then takes 10 - 15 mins to walk to immigration

ad 4. 18 July, 5 mins past midnight

Thank you for giving the above details.

In this scenario, when the immigration official (IO) says "wrong date" without specifying which date he deems to be wrong, the question arises what date he is referring to. I hate to make assumptions but in this case it seems reasonable to assume that the IO implies that the traveller put the wrong flight arrival date on the TDAC form.

Is this what happened in your case and did you have to change the arrival date to 18 July?

Yes he was implying I arrived (to IO) on 18 July but the online form said 17 July. I had zero interest to start arguing with the guy and within 2 mins had copied the 17 July form to a new one and changed it to 18 July and was whisked through with a smile.

Hi all, anybody know how to retrieve a previously-submitted TDAC if you don't have anything saved? Couldn't see any option for this on tdac.immigration.go.th 😕

 Yes indeed.

I have completed my fourth TDAC form for hospital appointments in Thailand from Cambodia.

For the latest visit, I had to fly from Siem Reap via Bangkok DMK to Khon Kaen as the road crossings between O'Smach and Anlo Veng are closed.

Is it acceptable to just have a printout? I have a phone but don't use the Internet and apps on my phone or do I have to show a QR code on my phone?
I'm only going to be away from Thailand for 5 days and when asked about which countries I've visited in the last two weeks, should I then write both Thailand and the country I've visited?

Btw, do someone have a link to the original TDAC I looked at Thai Immigration website but there I found only  a brief introduction to the procedure!

Thanks

The official website: https://tdac.immigration.go.th

No need for a printout or showing on a phone, they have the info in their system. Regarding visited countries, no need to mention Thailand.

They usually don't ask at all, as it's in their system. But if you do get asked, having a printout of the PDF file they email you is just as good as showing it on your phone.

Regarding your other question, yes, include both Thailand and the country you visit in the list of countries for the health declaration.

😐Yes, I'm aware of that but did not know it was so detailed. But I found out because when they stopped stamping passports on departure then the regional tax office demanded my travel history to see if I was actually in Thailand more than 180 days in the year so I could get my annual "Income tax payment certificate" (Yes they are not overly interested in us paying taxes) Previously when the passport was stamped on departure and entry it was enough with passport copies. So, I visited the immigration who printed out all my travel history with pictures and that from different areas at Suvarnabhumi exit /entry all the way back to when I last got a new passport 5 years ago😮

Unfortunately, you can't set the date back in time. The issue is my dad deleted the email over a month ago, but will need it for 90 day reports and a visa application 😕

Serious question as I've never done a TDAC, but why would you need evidence of one for a 90 day report or visa application?

you wouldn't

tarheeldan makes zero sense, its done 3 days before arrival, not 30 and once ur in the country, you dont need even the email or copy anymore, Plus, what would it have to do with getting  a visa??

That's what I thought, and there must be lots of people who haven't left the country for a while doing 90 day reports but don't have a TDAC.  I wondered it it had a reference number to use in place of an arrival card number on a TM47 for your 90 day, and if there was anything similar for an annual extension (assuming he meant extension of stay rather than visa).

It's required for the LTR WP visa, only piece we're missing

Because the TM6 number used to be required for all of these.  The form still has that section asking for it.  Now that the TM6 is replaced by the TDAC, some offices are now starting to require the TDAC number where the old TM6 number was required.

I did my first TDAC in mid June, all very straight forward, then yesterday flying back after a one-week trip in Vietnam, I tried to update the earlier TDAC, brought up the form, put in my previous number, but it didn't work for me, so just did a whole new one, no big deal, took 5 minutes, but I wonder why the update method didn't work for me, have any others had that glitch?

New arrival, new form required.  Just like with the previous arrival card.
