I am in the same situation. I travel by road to hospital in Khon Kaen on Sunday 4th May via the O'Smach - Sisaket land crossing. I shall plead ignorance and if I am refused then I will discuss the need for urgent medical treatment. I only have an old 3G mobile. This crossing is usually quiet with mainly local Cambodian and Thai travelers. Maybe they still have a collection of old TM6 forms available.

 

Recently, I travelled to the same hospital but travelling with Air Asia from Siem Reap to/from Khon Kaen. Thai Immigration in Bangkok (DMK) were brilliant. Being in a wheelchair, I was kept clear of all the channels with passengers queueing and was taken to the DIPLOMAT- VIP channel and processed in a couple of minutes. I was the the sole traveler who was then ushered to the right of the Diplomat channel to a hidden lift within the Immigration Admin and rest area and taken to the ground floor. Thankyou Air Asia and Thai Immigration - first class service!

Yes, thank you. I will try using the website on my computer and generate a paper copy for presentation to Thai Immigration.

If your flight start from UK but you have another flight from China (connecting flight) and then you arrive to Thailand, what's the country that you have to fill on the country where you boarded? UK or China? As is the connecting flight that will bring you to Thailand 

 

And what flight number you must fill in? The flight number from UK or the flight number from China to Thailand?

It will be interesting to see how the new system works come Monday.

I would have thought UK because you are only in transit when changing planes but not sure

Thailand now available as the country of residence.

To all the Chicken Littles who won't have internet or data, don't have a smart phone, don't like computers (but somehow managed to book their flight to Thailand) rest assured there are touchscreen terminals in the arrivals hall when you can fill out the form - just like there are in Singapore. Tell the immigration official you entered the data on the TDAC kiosk, and he will know what to do

Jist took me less than 5 minutes to fill it out

I have a retirement visa so i have no outbound flight but still gave them a bogus outbound flight number as it was a highlighted question

it is not a required filed.

 

 

If it shows as required, it is because you have ticked the box next to the airplane.

I'm pretty sure I saw an answer to this or similar question already.  The flight on the TDAC is the flight you arrive on.  That's all you need to do.  If asked for a boarding pass that is the one you will show.  You can fit 10 characters in the flight number field so you could cram 2 flights in there, but for what purpose?

So if for example you start to fly from UK, you should add UK on the country where you boarded, while you should add the connecting flight to Thailand as flight number, does it look fine like that?

I'd put the country the arriving flight came from. But suspect at the end of the day it is of no consequence.

Just put the number of the last flight, that is all they need.

If you fly London to Bangkok on Emirates for example you just enter the flight number of the last leg: Dubai to Bangkok. No need to overthink things, just use the flight number of the flight you arrived in Thailand on.

Without reading all of this:- I have just successfully completed the Digital Arrival and have the PDF and email copies transferred to my phone. No access to a printer. Will the QR code suffice?

 

EDIT:- Very easy process seeing as though I put my return date as mid 2027 and an "UNKNOWN" into flight number field and it was lodged from the "deserts" which were once grazing land in a dry South Australia.

Nobody has used one yet to find out immigration's interpretation, but if you read the email it mentions "You may choose to download or print a copy of this and retain it for the duration of your stay" which indicates to me it's not compulsory to have a print out.

The QR code will suffice.

It would be great if you can report back after entry. I'm curious to know if they ask to see it or if it's all on their system once they scan your passport.

That is incorrect as I have 2 UK passports as some people can get a 2nd passport if your passport is often sent to get visas but need a passport for traveling whilst that one is away

 I have just completed my first TDAC form 3 days prior to travelling to Khon Kaen in Thailand for a hospital appointment on 04/05/2025. 

I will be travelling by car via the land crossing border at O'Smach into Sisaket Province.

I do not own a smartphone but experienced no problems - quite user friendly .

I completed the relevant website application form provided by Thai Immigration on my personal computer. I stated I was a British citizen residing in Cambodia - no problems.

I sent the completed form and immediately received an email acknowledgement with a QR code.

Around 30 minutes later I received my TDAC form with its reference number and QR code which I was able to print using my Epson printer. Very efficient.

This paper copy I have to present to Thai Immigration this coming Sunday.

I will keep you informed.

 

My only concern was the detail required for where I was staying the night. Not just hotel name, but District within Khon Kaen, Sub-District and address!

I am sure this will confuse many tourists arriving in Thailand not knowing the full details of where they are going to stay.

Good post showing that it's really not that much of a challenge - bit like when the eVisa was first introduced, people were wailing and crying about it - I've had 3 of them from before the visa-free period was increased to 60 days - takes about 10 minutes including the payment process.

 

Regarding your final paragraph: if tourists have the hotel name then presumably they have the address, and, if part of a tour, then a quick web search should show the full address.

A friend of mine told me that you should add the last country that bring you to thailand on the country where you boarded. Immigration don't care if you have started to fly from your country of origin. So if you have a layover to another airport, just add the connecting flight that will bring you to thailand
